Unlike his lost to Page at AEW Dynamite premiere episode, Page started the match in strong fashion. PAC got the control back for some time but Page dominated the most part, returning into the match with big and powerful moves. Near the end, Hangman moved away from the Black Arrow. As he was going for the Buckshot lariat, PAC tried to low blow him. Page blocked it and hit with a clothesline and dead eye to win the match.

This was PAC’s first singles loss in AEW. Earlier, he defeated Kenny Omega in his AEW debut at All Out and then defeated Page at AEW Dynamite premiere episode. He also had a time-limit draw against Jon Moxley before getting another win against Trent Bareta. He was first pinned in AEW by Page itself in their tag team match at AEW Dynamite episode of 16 October 2019.

The feud between PAC and Page started in January at AEW’s ticket rally. Their match was originally slated for the AEW Double or Nothing PPV in May but PAC was removed from the show after some creative difference with AEW creative team. They instead had a match at WrestleGate event in London which ended in a DQ.

Page then went on to win the Battle Royal at Double or Nothing and qualified for the AEW World Championship match. PAC debuted with AEW at All Out where he replaced Jon Moxley in the match against Kenny Omega. PAC and Page met at AEW Dynamite premiere episode where PAC got the win with a low blow.
