New Tag Champions and Challengers!

Michael Cole and Corey Graves welcome us to the show. They hype the Triple H 25th anniversary and tonight’s line-up. Big E and Kofi make their entrance and celebrate on the announce table. Kofi praises Big E for winning the match and bringing back the title. Kofi reminds us that the New Day now has 8 title reigns which is more than the likes of Hart Foundation, The British Bulldogs, The New Age Outlaws, Demolition, Edge and Christian. They do some comedy then until Lucha House Party interrupts. LHP congratulate New Day and then challenge them for the title match.

Miz and John Morrison enter next and go past LHP. Miz says New Day has not defeated them in a traditional tag team match and wants their titles back. Metalik shouts in Spanish. Morrison translates it to some gibberish. Forgotten Sons interrupt to make their presence known. Cutler introduces all three members and tells us that after they have returned from serving their country, they are being disrespected. After Miz brags about his career for a while, Forgotten Sons attack everyone in the ring. Miz and Morrison escape the ring while Sons run over LPH and New Day.

Back from the break and we get a look at Triple H’s debut match in WWE in 1995 as Hunter Hearst Helmsley. The Miz and John Morrison are stroming at the backstage when Renee Young stops them for comments. They accuse LHP of starting everything and they are going to get a match set up for tonight.

Baron Corbin vs Drew Gulak – Money in the Bank Qualifying Match

Drew Gulak comes out with and to Daniel Bryan’s music. Corbin enter and they lock up. Corbin sends Gulak out of the ring and talks trash. Back in the ring, they lock up again ad Gulak grounds Corbin now. Corbin does not get into the submission manuever and gets some punches going. He ducks some on Gulak’s offense. Gulak hits a knee to Corbin’s face to send him out. A suicide dive follows before Gulak sends Corbin over the table.

Corbin takes Gulak to the corner before running him over with the clothesline. He is control now with some punches. Gulak rolls him over for two-count. Corbin hits a sideslam to get a two-count of his own. Corbin gets some forearms and punches going before Gulak hits a running crossbody. He hits another one to get two-count. Corbin moves out of the ring and Gulak sweeps his leg into the steel steps.

Back in the ring, Gulak hits a splash from the top for another two-count. Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro attack Daniel Bryan and send him into the steel pillar in the corner. They come to the ringside and distract Gulak so that Corbin can attack him from behind. Corbin hits deep six and gets the win.

Winner- Baron Corbin

After the match, Nakamura and Cesaro enter the ring and hold Gulak up. Corbin gets his scepter to hit Gulak with it. He hits a few more shots with the scepter before celebrating for a while as his music starts.
