According to the latest reports, WWE has released former world champion, Jeff Hardy after he refused the offer for help and rehab.

Fightful has learned that WWE offered help and assistance to Jeff Hardy after his sudden disappearance from a WWE live event. However, the latter refused, and now the news surfaced that WWE has released Jeff Hardy from his contract.

On December 5, Jeff Hardy suddenly disappeared from the arena after giving a tag to Drew McIntyre in a six-man tag team match. Hardy went sluggish as the match progressed. He missed the live event on December 6 too as he was sent home by the officials.

Hardy’s last WWE TV wrestling match came at the November 26 episode of SmackDown where he teamed up with Drew McIntyre against the team of Madcap Moss and Happy Corbin.

Jeff Hardy made his return to WWE at WrestleMania 33 and won the tag-team titles along with his brother Matt Hardy. The latter left the company and joined AEW in 2020 while Jeff Hardy signed a new contract with WWE.

Now, WWE has released Jeff Hardy as well. However, they are yet to announce it officially.
