WWE RAW will return to Cincinnati, OH with a new episode on September 27, 2021. This will be a fallout episode from Extreme Rules 2021 PPV. WWE Championship match is announced between Big E and Bobby Lashley. We can also expect the storyline for Alexa Bliss & Lilly to continue.

Bobby Lashley Gets Another Title Shot: Bobby Lashley asked for a rematch with Big E to win back the WWE Championship. Instead, he was put in a triple threat match against Roman Reigns and Big E. A brawl in the pre-show led to a tag team match at Extreme Rules, but again Big E pinned Lashley. Lashley then challenged Big E for a title match again and Big E accepted it.

Fall out from Extreme Rules: With the show taking place coming out of Extreme Rules PPV, we can expect that fall out from the matches like RAW Women’s title match between Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, Damian Priest vs Sheamus vs Jeff Hardy triple threat match and more.

Live Updates


The show opens with a recap of the storyline between Bobby Lashley and WWE Champion Big E. The commentary goes through the lineup for tonight wit three title matches including WWE title, RAW Women’s title and US title.

Big E(c) vs Bobby Lashley – WWE Championship Match

Big E starts with a slap and Lashley replies with big elbow strike in the corner. After beating him around for a while, Lashley hits a snap suplex and sends Big E to the floor. Big E is sent into the barricade. Big E tosses Lashley with a belly-to-belly suplex on the floor. We cut to a break.

We return shortly and Lashley is in control again. A big elbow from Lashley to cut off Big E’s charge. A big tackle in the corner. Lashley goes for the superplex but Big E fights back with shots at the ribs. Lashley drops Big E from the top with a big elbow strike. Both men catch each other with double clotheslines. They get into the ring and trade strikes. Lashley stops Urinage and hits a neckbreaker.

Big E goes for the big ending but Lashley grabs the ropes. Big E takes down with a spear from the apron. Big E finds Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin on the floor as he lands. Alexander and Benjamin are wearing Hurt Business shirts. They get back to the ring and Lashley drops Big E. Lashley hits a spear but New Day attacks Benjamin and Alexander. They get into the ring and the referee calls for the DQ.

Winner – No Result

The brawl between the two factions continues for a while. Several WWE officials run out to take things under control. Adam Pearce announces that there will be a steel cage match later tonight between Big E and Lashley to get a definite result.

Erik vs Angel Garza

Erik drops Garza to start. Garza comes back with a knee to the face. Garza rips his pants and drops Erik again. He puts on a stretch. Erik hits a big shot and then drops Garza with a Northern light suplex. Carrillo runs a distraction and Garza catches Erik with a superkick. Garza hits the Wing Clipper to get the pin and the win.

Winner- Angel Garza

We get a recap of what happened at Extreme Rules in the match between Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.

WWE 24/7 Championship Match

Ricochet is Reggie’s opponent for the night. 24/7 rules are suspended for the duration for the match. R-Truth, Drew Gulak and Drake Maverick are in the front row. They lock up and Reggie throws Ricochet to the ropes. Both men avoids attacks with some acrobatic skills. Ricochet puts on a armlock. Both men avoid each other in the corner again. Ricochet hits a suicide dive. R-Truth and Drew Gulak attack Reggie and Ricochet to cause a DQ.

R-Truth and Gulak attack Ricochet while Reggie leaves. Drake Maverick has a walkie talkie and calls for Akira Tozawa to come out. Tozawa forces Reggie back to the ring but Reggie hits him with a crossbody and leaves.

Riddle is announced to face AJ Styles. Riddle gets interviewed backstage. He goes on with his unstoppable promo and informs us that Randy is taking a break today. He wants to make Randy proud tonight by defeating AJ. Kevin Patrick leaves as Riddle gets in his zone. AJ & Omos roll up behind Riddle.

“Bearcat” Keith Lee vs Akira Tozawa

Akira Tozawa is still in the ring after the break. He calls for R-Truth, Drew Gulak or any one else to come out and have a match with him. His call is answered by “Bearcat” Keith Lee. Keith Lee drops Tozawa a few times and then hits Big Bang Catastrophe to get the pin.

Winner – “Bearcat” Keith Lee

Kevin Patrick is backstage with The New Day. WWE Champion Big E issues a warning to Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. He talks about calling his shot to cash in MITB contract and winning WWE Championship. He says he will do it again tonight as he will walk out with the WWE Title from the steel cage match.

Damian Priest(c) vs Sheamus – No DQ Match for United States Title

A pre-recorded promo where Sheamus says this match is made for him as he is the best brawler in the business. He adds that this match would be very ugly and he will get back what is rightfully his.

They lock up and try to get control over the match. Sheamus hits a few elbow to the back of the head. Sheamus drops him again with back elbow. Priest lands some forearm strikes and hits a suplex. The action spills on the floor and Priest hits a suplex on the floor. He brings out a table. Sheamus sends him over the steel steps and sets up the table. Sheamus hits a white noise through the table to take us to the break.

After the break, Priest and Sheamus continue to go back and forth and get kendo stick, tables and chairs involved. Priest finally sends Sheamus through a table and then hits the reckoning to get the pin.

Winner – Damian Preist(retains United States Title)

Mansoor, Mustafa Ali & Jeff Hardy vs Veer, Shanky & Jinder Mahal

Ali and Shanky start. Ali tries to get quick attack going but Shanky catches him with a big sidewalk slam. Veer takes over but Ali sends him into the turnbuckles. Mansoor tags in and Veer no-sells his strikes and yells at him. Veer drops Mansoor and then hits a big elbow drop. Veer keeps Mansoor under control. Shanky tags in and drops Mansoor with a big right hand and elbows.

Hardy and Mahal tag in and Hardy knocks Shanky off the apron. Hardy with some of his signature moves on. Jinder blocks the Twist of Fate but runs into an elbow. Ali tags in to hit bulldog on Mahal. Veer breaks the tag. Shanky goes to chokeslam Hardy but Mansoor takes him out with a suicide dive. Back in the ring, Veer hits a big shoulder tackle on Ali and then hits a baseball pitch style lariat to get the pin.

Winner – Veer, Shanky & Jinder Mahal

Karrion Kross vs Jaxson Ryker

Kross starts with elbow strikes and kicks. Ryker hits back with a back elbow himself. Kross forces him into the corner with more strikes and then hits a Saito Suplex. Ryker hits him with double ax handle but fails to get him in the fireman’s carry. Kross hits doomsday suplex and puts on the sleeper lock to get the submission win.

Winner – Karrion Kross

After the break, Bobby Lashley delivers a warning for Big E that he will take the title back.

AJ Styles vs Riddle

AJ forces Riddle to the corner to start. Riddle comes back with quick kicks in the corner. AJ sends his leg into the ring post. Riddle comes back more aggressively and suplex and another sidekick. Riddle hits a trio of gut-wrench overhead suplex. Riddle catches AJ with a big knee strike again.

AJ attacks in the corner and then drops Riddle to the floor. A sliding knee strikes from the apron when Riddle is on the floor. Back in the ring, Riddle is caught with a backbreaker. AJ is in control as we cut to a break.

Riddle is charging with his signature forearm strikes in the corner. He hits a senton before AJ catches him by taking his knees up on the second senton. AJ hits Ushi-Garoshi for a two-count. Riddle hits a snap German suplex and bridges it for a two-count. AJ hits a Pele kick next. Omos is seething on the floor for some reason.

AJ misses a big swing and Riddle hits another ripcord knee. AJ counters with a pumphandle gutbuster. Riddle cuts off the phenomenal forearm and hits a springboard moonsault on the floor. AJ counters floating bro into calf crusher. Riddle struggles and even thinks about giving up. But he somehow reaches for the rope. Omos is getting angrier seeing the match.

Riddle cuts off AJ with another knee. AJ hits another gutbuster and then the Styles Clash to get the pin.

Winner – AJ Styles

After the match, Omos comes in and AJ tells him to hit Riddle with a chokeslam. Omos does the same. AJ smile sadistically as Omos stands tall over Riddle.

Charlotte Flair(c) vs Doudrop – WWE RAW Women’s Championship Match

Flair makes her entrance before the break. Doudrop comes out dancing for the match and gives her hand to some fans in the front row. The official announcement gets done and we are ready to go.

Doudrop drops Flair with a big tackle and Flair is shocked. Doudrop continues to overpower Flair and drops Flair with more tackles. Doudrop hits a senton on Flair. She gets distracted by Eva Marie coming out to the stage. Flair decks Doudrop and then hits Natural Selection to get the win.

Winner – Charlotte Flair(retains RAW Women’s title)

After the match, Eva Marie comes into the ring and stands tall over Doudrop. Flair does not like Eva taking the spotlight and drops her from behind.

We hear from Goldberg next as he joins the show via satellite. Goldberg brings up how Lashley lied when he said it was instinct when he attacked his son Gage. Goldberg promises that he will beat the hell out of Lashley and will enjoy doing so.

Eva Marie is still in the ring and says she would have done far better if she got the title match instead of Doudrop. She adds that she can take on any woman in the locker room. Shayna Baszler’s music hits and she comes out. Shayna attacks Eva and puts her in the Kirafuda clutch to put her to sleep.

Big E(c) vs Bobby Lashley – Steel Cage Match for WWE Championship

Lashley attacks Big E just as he was entering the cage. He continues to beat up Big E on the floor, sending him into the barricade a few times and then into the steel cage. He then drives into the ring post. Lashley gets the steel steps and rams them into Big E’s ribs. We cut to a break. The match has not started yet.

After the break, Big E gets in the ring and screams at the referee to ring the bell. Big E slams Lashley into the steel cage a few times. Lashley drops him with a clothesline and then rams Big E into the steel cage. A big forearm in the corner before Lashley hits a vertical suplex.

Big E avoids a spear and sends Lashley into the turnbuckle. He slams Lashley into the steel walls a few times. He goes for the Big Ending but Lashley slips away. Lashley tries to go for the Hurt Lock but Big E manages to avoid it. Lashley hits an overhead suplex.

Lashley climbs the cage and Big E picks him up and goes for the Big Ending. Lashley puts on a sleeper using the ropes. Big E is put to sleep. Lashley goes climbing the cage. Big E recovers and joins Lashley on the ropes. Big E slams Lashley’s face into the steel cage a few times. Big E then reaches the top of the cage and tries to escape. But Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander climb from the outside to prevent him from leaving. Big E gets dropped in the ring from the top of the cage.

Lashley calls to open the door of the cage and tries to crawl out. Xavier Woods runs in and slams the door in Lashley’s face. Kofi climbs the cage and sends Alexander and Benjamin down. Kofi hits a dive on both men on the floor as we cut to the break.

Back from the break, Big E hits trios of belly-to-belly suplex. He goes for the standing splash but Lashley hits a spear. Lashley covers but Big E kicks out of the pin. Lashley drops him a few times with spinebuster and suplex. Lashley calls to open the door but Big E grabs his leg again. Big E gets up and hits Big Ending, but Lashley kicks out of the pin. Lashley then stops Big E from escaping the cage.

Lashley hits a big uppercut and spinebuster. Lashley tries to climb out again. Big E grabs Lashley and hits an avalanche Big Ending to get the pin finally.

Winner – Big E(retains WWE Championship)

After the match, the cage is removed and Big E gets his title. Big E celebrates his win and the commentary says that Big E has now legitimized his title reign with this big win. Drew McIntyre’s music hits and he comes out to the stage with his sword. McIntyre points at Big E from the stage, signifying a challenge for the title.
