WWE will present Survivor Series 2021 – the last of their big 4 PPV for this year on November 21, 2021.
Survivor Series has historically been a big event for WWE. Started in 1987, the special tag team elimination matches have been its hallmark. The concept has seen many rivalries coming to a close, while the series has also created many epic moments.
Since 20216, the event is changed towards the concept of the Battle for Brand Supremacy. RAW and SmackDown teams and respective champions competed against each other to get wins for their brands. In 2019, NXT was also part of the rivalry, but it is not expected to be the case this year.
In preparation for Survivor Series, WWE has already started a rivalry between WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns(representing SmackDown) and WWE Champion Big E(representing RAW). Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura vs United States Champion Damian Priest, Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair and many other mouth-watering clashes are expected to take place.
Survivor Series 2021 will take place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York which has been the venue for many WWE PPVs, RAW and SmackDown episodes in the past.
