WWE RAW episode of September 20, 2021, will be the go-home episode for Extreme Rules PPV. This will also be the first episode of Big E as the WWE Champion. New Day vs The Bloodline, a PPV worthy match, is announced for the show.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match is also added to the card. Shayna Baszler vs Nia Jax and Sheamus vs Jeff Hardy is announced for the show.

- The Bloodline(Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) defeated New Day(Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) in a tag team match via pinfall.
- Doudrop defeated Eva Marie in a singles match via pinfall.
- Randy Orton defeated AJ Styles in a singles match via pinfall.
- Nia Jax defeated Shayna Baszler in a singles match via referee stoppage.
- Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo defeated Mansoor & Mustafa Ali in a tag team match via pinfall.
- Rhea Ripley & Nikki ASH defeated Natalya & Tamina(c) via pinfall to become new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
- Jeff Hardy defeated Sheamus in a singles match via pinfall.
- Roman Reigns defeated Bobby Lashley & Big E in a Triple Threat match via pinfall.
Live Updates
The show opens with the recap of Big E cashing in MITB contract and defeating Bobby Lashley to become the WWe Champion.
Big E’s Celebration
Big E comes out with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods for his championship celebration. He gets a big emotional as the crowd gives him cheers. Big E says it’s not thanksgiving but he wants to thanks all the fans. He thanks the locker room and also thanks Broodie Lee without taking his name. But he has to cut short the celebrations because The Usos and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is here.
He starts a “New Day Rocks” chant before Roman’s music cut it off. Roman and The Usos come out to the ring and face-off with New Day. We cut to a break.
New Day vs The Bloodline
The Usos take the control early in the match. Kofi takes a blind tag to turn the tide. A crossbody gets him a two-count. Kofi decks Jey from the apron but Roman takes the blind tag and trips Kofi. He brings him out and slams him into the announce table and ring post before throwing him over the announce table.
Kofi back body drops Jimmy Uso out to the floor as we return from the break. But Jimmy comes back and tags in Jey. Jey stops Kofi from tagging out by kicking Woods. Kofi hits a superkick to Jey and tags out to Big E. Jey also tags Roman.
Big E and Roman face off now. They start trading strikes. Big E hits trio of Belly-to-belly suplexes. Jey tries to attack Big E but he clotheslines him to the floor. Roman catches him with Urinage for a near fall. Big E counters Superman Punch with a Belly-to-belly to suplex again. He hits a standing splash and goes for the Big Ending but Roman prevents it.
Woods tags in and Kofi takes out Jimmy & Jey with a dive. Roman hits Superman Punch on Big E to send him to the floor. Roman and Woods go back and forth for a while. Lashley comes out and attacks each and everyone on the floor. Roman and Woods were in the ring. Roman hits a spear on Woods to get the pin.
Winner – The Bloodline
After the match, Lashley hits a spear to Roman also. He stands tall in the ring before leaving.
After the break, we see Bobby Lashley going to WWE Officials Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville. Lashley rants against what has been going on since he lost the title. He says he can take on Big E or Roman Reigns any day of the week. The segment ends with Pearce & Deville looking at each other.
Randy Orton is backstage. Riddle comes out and tries to chear him up after losing WWE title match against Lashley. He starts to compare different animals as personalities of WWE stars. He believes he is a mangoose. Riddle continues to rant.
Eva Marie vs Doudrop
Doudrop makes short work on Eva Marie to get the win.

Big E goes to Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville and ask for Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns tonight.

After the break, Paul Heyman is backstage ranting on Lashley attacking Roman Reigns and The Usos. Pearce and Deville stop his rant by announcing a match between Big E, Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley.
Randy Orton vs AJ Styles
Back and forth action to start the match. Orton takes control of the match. He hits a suplex fora two-count. Omos tripes him as he was going for the punt kick. The referee boots him from the ringside. Omos attacks Riddel before leaving. AJ throws Orton out to the floor and hits Phenomenal Forearm on the floor. We cut to a break.
After the break, AJ stops Orton’s comeback and starts to work on his knee. AJ remains in control for a while. Orton catches him with a powerslam out of nowhere. AJ slips out of the superplex but Orton hits a clothesline. Orton stops Phenomenal forearm but AJ puts him in a sleeper.
Orton stops a tornado DDT and hits Northen Light suplex. AJ hits a Pele kick to return into the match. Orton stops the Styles clash. Styles hits a forearm and a springboard moonsault for a near fall. Orton hits an RKO to get the win.

Shayna Baszler vs Nia Jax
They start yelling at each other as the bell rings before starting to shove each other. Baszler hits a shoulder breaker for a quick two-count. Jax hits a splash in the corner. Baszler fights back with knee strikes and brings Jax down to her knees. Baszler applies the Kirifuda Clutch.
Jax powers up to her feet but Baszler keeps unloading on her. Baszler puts on the Kirifuda Clutch again. Jax drops to the mat now and starts to fade. The referee calls for the bell as she fades out.
Winner- Shayna Baszler
After the match, Jax sits on the apron. Baszler attacks her once again and stomps on her arm and her mouth. Baszler then stomps on the arm against the steel steps. The crowd was booing Baszler hard during all of this.
Mansoor & Mustafa Ali vs Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo
Garza & Carrillo – the Cousins – deliver a pre-recorded promo saying that they got together because no team is stronger. Garza starts with a dropkick to Ali. Carrillo comes in for some double team action. Ali catches him with tornado DDT. Mansoor comes in with hot tag and runs over Garza.
Carrillo breaks the pin after Ali joins Mansoor in a double team attack. Carrillo dodges a suicide dive from Mansoor and sends him into the ringpost. Garza does the same to Ali. Carrillo puts on a submission on Ali and Garza hits him with a dropkick. Carrillo covers Ali for the pin.

Natalya & Tamina(c) vs Rhea Ripley & Nikki ASH – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Nikki & Rhea talk about Connor’s Cure and Pediatric Cancer Awareness month before the match. Nikki and Tamina start the match. Tamina gets better of early shots and tags in Natalya to hit a Hart Attack Ripley had to break the pin. Tamina headbutts Ripley and tosses her to the floor. Natalya and Tamina keep control over Nikki.
Tamina hits a big Samoan Drop but Nikki gets her knees up when she hits the Superfly Splash. Nikki crawls for the tag but Ripley is not there. Natalya attacks Nikki until Ripley takes Tamina with a dive on her. Natalya goes for the Sharpshooter on Nikki but gets distracted as Rhea hits Tamina with a riptide on the apron. Nikki takes advantage of the distraction and rolls Natalya for the pin to win the titles.
Winner- Rhea Ripley & Nikki ASH(new Women’s Tag Team Champions)
Nikki and Rhea celebrate the title win as their music hit.
