WWE Raw episode of April 25, 2022, is all set to feature raw Women’s champion Bianca Belair defending her title in her hometown of Knoxville, TN, at Thompson-Boling Arena. The show will also continue the build-up towards WrestleMania Backlash event. 

Bianca Belair will face Sonya Deville for the RAW Women’s title next week whereas Bobby Lashley and Omos will engage in an arm-wrestling contest.  Randy Orton will be honored for completing 20 years in WWE.

Live Updates

Orton’s 20 Years Celebration

Riddle is in the ring. There are some RAW stars at the ringside as the ring is set for celebrations. Riddle takes us to a video package for Orton’s career so far.

Thank you chants start from the crowd as the package ends. Riddle brings out Orton. Orton comes down the ramp, fist bumps some of the stars at the ringside before getting into the ring. Orton looks emotional as he takes the mic. Orton says thank you. He reminds us that he was born in Knoxville itself. He says there have been a lot of twists and turns for 20 years, but he is not going anywhere.

He brings up how he had great matches against the likes of John Cena, Triple H, Mick Foley and others. But, he is having the most fun right now, and that is due to Riddle. Orton hugs Riddle for a while. Orton thanks the fans for sticking with him for all this while. The crowd starts to chant his name again. Riddle says he is bringing out a friend of Orton and who considers Orton as a locker room leader and mentor. He brings out Cody Rhodes.

Cody comes out to the ring and hugs Cody. Seth Rollins interrupts from the mic and tells Randy not to trust Cody as he is here to steal the spotlight from Orton, just as he stole it from Rollins at WrestleMania. Rollins then says tonight is about Randy and his 20 years. Rollins then adds that Orton is now the past. He is not be the future.

Ezekiel interrupts him and comes into the ring. Ezekiel says he has been a big fan and use to watch The Legend Killer with his brother Elias. Kevin Owens cuts him off as he comes out from the crowd. He has had enough of Ezekiel lying about not being Elias. The Usos then come out. They say they use to watch Orton when they were kids and they are watching him now. But, their favorite match will be when they beat him at WrestleMania Backlash.

Adam Pearce comes out to the stage and announces an 8-man tag team match as the main event. Cody, Ezekiel, Orton and Riddle against the Usos, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens. Owens decks Ezekiel and Orton replies with an RKO. Riddle checks on Ezekiel as the segment ends.

Bianca Beliar(c) vs Sonya Deville – WWE RAW Women’s Championship

Sonya starts with a side headlock. Bianca hits a shoulder tackle. Sonya gets to the floor. Bianca sends her over the announce table and gets back into the ring. The referee counts out Sonya. As the announcer was announcing a winner, Sonya takes the mic and changes the match into a No countout match.

Bianca comes to the floor and slams Sonya into the apron. Sonya tries to hit a powerslam but Bianca whips her into the timekeeper’s area using her braid. Sonya hits her with a steel chair to cause a DQ. Sonya once again restarts the match by turning it into a no-disqualification match. Sonya says she is bringing in someone to level the playing field. Carmella and Zelina come out as we cut to a break.

Back from the break, Carmella is holding Belair as Deville punches her. Bianca hits a boot and spinebuster on Sonya. Vega jumps on her from behind. Sonya brings her down with a kick. Bianva hits a shoulder block in the corner and drops Zelina to the apron. Bianca goes for the Glam Slam but Deville counters by sending her into the turnbuckles.

Sonya hits a DDT on the chair but Beliar kicks out of the pin. Zelina puts a chair in the corner, but Bianca counters by sending Sonya into it. Carmella is sent into the corner. Bianca hits KOD to get the pin.

Winner – Bianca Belair

We get a recap of Bianca’s win. We cut to Zelina Vega and Carmella backstage when Sonya Deville comes in and shouts at them over her loss. Vega goes to reply her and Sonya slaps her. Carmella goes to attack Sonya but she blocks and slaps her also.

Edge is backstage with Damian Priest. Edge says they are sitting on the mountain of omnipotence, and will kick down anyone who tries to climb. He adds that Priest will take care of Finn Balor tonight and will be complete his unfinished business. Edge goes on and talk about AJ. He advises Styles to remain at home and not to return to WWE after listening to the fans. Edge says AJ was not able to hit his Phenomenal Forearm at WrestleMania, but should not believe that he will be able to beat Edge even after hitting that. As for Finn Balor, Priest says Balor’s guilt has been determined and he will be the executioner tonight.

Veer Mahan vs Sam Smothers

Veer drops his opponent with a tackle. He hits a splash in the corner and then hits a big discuss lariat. He puts on the cervical clutch to get a tap out immediately.

Winner – Veer Mahan

After the match, he slams his opponent into the corner. Veer beats him up on the floor before slamming him into the announce table. He puts on the cervical clutch again. The referees try to break the hold but fail. Veer let the poor man go after a while.

Omos vs Bobby Lashley – Arm-Wrestling Match

MVP is in the ring with Omos and hypes Omos, saying they will prove that Omos is mightier than Bobby Lashley. Lashley comes out and we got straight to the action.

They grab the posts and clinch their hands to start the arm wrestling. Omos starts to pull ahead at first but Lashley powers up and reverses it. Omos once again bring it back to his side before Lashley finishes it by putting Omos’ hand on the table.

Winner – Bobby Lashley

After the match, Omos attacks Lashley by smashing Lashley’s face into the table. He hits a lariat to send Lashley to the floor. Omos smashes the table on Lashley’s chest. Omos throws away the table to end the segment.

A mixed tag team match between Dana Brooke and Reggie vs Akira Tozawa and Tamina.

Becky Lynch cuts a promo in the ring about how she will bring down Bianca Belair. Asuka makes her comeback and says Becky is not ready for Asuka. Becky tries to attack her but Asuka ducks. Becky runs away before Asuka could attack.

Finn Balor vs Damian Priest

Damian Priest comes out with Edge in his new entrance. Edge is sitting on his iron throne. The match starts and Priest hits a shoulder tackle. He sends Balor into the corner and hits an uppercut and more shots. He misses in the other corner and Balor starts to unload on him. They are on the floor now with Balor still unloading. Priest picks him up and hits Razor’s Edge on the apron.

Priest is in control as we return. Balor makes a comeback with quick moves. Balor hits a Gamengiri and goes to the top. Edge stands up on the stage. Balor watches him and the distraction allows Priest to grab Balor and hits a chokeslam. Priest hits a new finisher, Judgement Day, to get the pin.

Winner – Damian Priest

After the match, Priest gets to the ramp and kneels down in front of Edge.

The Miz TV with Austin Theory

The Miz is in the ring and he brings out Theory after praising him for a while. Miz talks about how he brought the prestige to the United States title, and thinks Theory could do something similar. Theory says Miz feels like an inspiration, how he became the two-time grand slam champion and a WrestleMania main eventer. Theory want to continue to prove why Vince McMahon bet on him. And he wants to take this title to new heights, wants to be remembered as the United States.

Miz advices that everyone in the locker room will be a parasite. Miz says WWE has handed down title shots easily in the past and Theory should not give title shots to anybody and everybody. Mustafa Ali makes his return and enters to the ring with a mixed response. He gets into the ring and takes mic. Before he could speak, Miz cuts him off and asks whether he still works here.

Theory asks whether he is the guy who ran away with his ball. Miz jokes that this is not Mustafa Ali, but his brother Mufasa. Ali cuts them off and takes shots at Miz. He says he was backstage with Adam Pearce when he heard new United States Champion. Ali challenges Theory for a title match. Theory declines his challenge. Miz gets into the conversation again and Ali tries to goad him into a match. Miz declines but Theory has been busy on his phone meanwhile.

Theory says he has asked Mr. McMahon to set up a match, and he has agreed to it. Miz supresses his anger and mocks Ali again. Ali decks him and gets to the floor for safety. We cut to a break, and the match will be on when we return.

Mustafa Ali vs The Miz

Miz wrenches the arm to start. Ali rolls over and reverses it, but Miz decks him and puts on a side headlock. Ali reverses that also. Miz sends him into the corner. Ali avoids the charge in the corner. Miz cuts him off with a big boot. Miz hits a running knee. He puts on a chinlock. Ali gets back to his feet and hits a couple of chops. Miz hits him off with a knee. He hits another knee strike. Miz hits chops in the corner.

Ali tries to counter but Miz whips him corner to corner hard. Miz hits It Kicks on Ali’s chest. Ali ducks on kick and hits a spinning heel kick. Ali gets up and hits a dropkick. He hits a chop, ducks Miz in the corner, rolling in with a neckbreaker for a two-count. Miz comes back with a DDT after avoiding for a two-count. Miz goes to the top. Ali follows him but Miz kicks at his knee to put him back down. Miz goes for the figure four but Ali counters with pin attempt to get the pin and the win.

Winner – Mustafa Ali

Ali gets out of the ring immediately after the match and celebrates on the ramp. Miz is pointing to his shoulder as we go to replay. Ali gets to the stage and Tommaso Ciampa drops him from behind.

We see a replay of how Rhea Ripley attacked Liv Morgan after they were defeated by Sasha Banks and Naomi. Rhea is backstage for an interview. Rhea says she has opened up her mind. She won the RAW Women’s title upon coming to RAW. She was then put into the tag division after that and her partners are bringing her down. So, she is done with them. Liv Morgan attacks Rhea and they brawl breifly before taken apart.

Alpha Academy is backstage with Kevin Owens and Chad Gable is asking Owens for his money due from last week’s Lie Detector Test. Owens is not ready to give him anything. Seth Rollins comes in and wants to discuss gameplan. Owens is in no mood to talk to him after what happened last week. The Usos come in and want to make sure they don’t lose because of them.

Cody Rhodes makes his entrance to take us to the break.

After the break, Omos and MVP are backstage. MVP tells us that Omos is challenging Lashley for a match at WrestleMania Backlash.

All the other competitors from the main event enter one by one. After everyone completes their entrance, Ezekiel decks Owens to start a brawl between the two teams. Rhodes, Ezekiel, Orton and Riddle are able to send the other team to the floor. We cut to a break.

Cody Rhodes, Ezekiel, Randy Orton & Riddle vs Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens

Ezekiel hits a shoulder tackle as we return. Ezekiel hits a knee and gets a two-count with a backslide. He hits a delayed vertical suplex. He pulls Jimmy in the air by his arm. Riddle tags in and hits some quick moves before bringing in Cody. Rollins tries to distract Cody but he keeps control on Jimmy. Jey takes a blind tag and hits Cody with a Samoan drop.

The heel team takes over and keeps control over Cody for a while. Cody counters against Rollins and brings Ezekiel, who is fired up and drops Rollins with a spinebuster and backdrop. Riddle comes in and he drops Rollins with a suplex. Rollins gets his knees up on the broton. Rollins hits an inverted superplex on Riddle to take us to the break.

Riddle hits a moonsault from the top as we return. Jimmy comes in and stops Riddle from tag. Riddle knocks off Rollins from the apron but Jimmy drops him with a clothelines. Jey comes in and hits a backbreaker. The Usos double team on Riddle. Jimmy knocks off the opposite team from the apron. Riddle gets the time to recover and drops Jimmy with a Pele kick. Orton gets sweeped from the apron by Rollins.

Owens hits a senton on Riddle for a close two-count. Riddle fires on Jey as he comes in. Jey hits an enziguiri but Riddle jumps and tags in Orton. Orton hits powerslams on both the Usos. Jey takes him to the floor and Orton slams his head into the announce table. He drops Jey, then Rollins and then Owens into the announce table with a side suplex. He hits a draping DDT on Jey from the second rope.

Orton gets ready for RKO but Rollins attacks him behind. Cody drops him with disaster kick and Orton hits with RKO. Owens hits Cody with a superkick before Ezekiel decks him to send into Orton for an RKO. Jimmy comes in and Riddle assists Orton for another RKO. Jey comes from the top and Orton hits him with another RKO to get the pin and the win.

Bianca Belair vs Sonya Deville: WWE official Sonya Deville tricked Bianca Belair into becoming her next opponent for the title. Sonya will face Bianca for the RAW Women Championship this week on RAW. Will Sonya Deville be able to defeat Bianca Beliar in her hometown? 

Arm Wrestling Contest: The feud between Bobby Lashley and Omos is far from over as both the wrestlers want to prove that they’re more powerful. In order to prove their dominance, Bobby Lashley and Omos will once again collide, but this time in an arm-wrestling contest.

Randy Orton 20 Years Celebration: Randy Orton is completing two decades in WWE exactly on this date. WWE will honor him for this achievement on RAW.

Becky Lynch Returns: Becky Lynch will return to RAW for the first time since losing the RAW Women’s title to Bianca Beliar at WrestleMania. Who will she target now on her return?
