WWE RAW episode of April 11, 2022, will feature Cody Rhodes’ first match on the show in six years. The event will air from the Little Caesars Arena, Detroit, MI.

The forthcoming episode of Raw will witness Naomi and Sasha Banks defending their women’s tag team titles against Liv Morgan & Rhea Ripley. Veer Mahaan will go one-on-one against Rey Mysterio, and AJ Styles will take on Edge’s new disciple Damian Priest. Roman Reigns is also expected to be at RAW this week.

The Miz TV

The show opens with a package for Cody Rhodes’ return at WrestleMania and his promo last week. The Miz comes out to the ring for his talk show. He gives Cody’s introduction and wonders can he beat him later tonight. Miz says Rollins is very good, but he considers himself better. On this note, he brings Cody out. Cody makes his entrance with pyros. He gives his hand to some fans in the front row. Fans cheer him as he poses in one of the corners. Miz is not impressed, giving signals that Cody is wasting time.

They sit down in the chair in the ring. Miz asks him if Cody is trying to upstage him on his own show. Cody tells Miz to not get hot since he has not been in front of crowd like this in a long time. Cody gets up and gets another great cheer from the crowd. Miz then brings up Dusty Rhodes. Miz tells Cody that if he did not have his last name, he would have just been a grandson of a plumber. Cody replies it would have been good if he was a plumber since Miz is full of… Cody stops at it and the crowd completes it. He says it has always been clear that he wanted to win the Undisputed WWE Universal belt.

Miz retorts at Cody calling it a belt. Miz goes on say Rollins will beat Cody in a rematch and Cody will not even survive tonight against him. Miz rants on Cody’s return and upstaging him beating The Mysterios and dropping Logan Paul at WrestleMania. Cody tells him to settle down and says he respects Miz and his accomplishments. Cody says this hostility from Miz might be due to his own insecurities. He adds that Miz is making it personal. He came back to WWE to become the best wrestler in all of WWE. Miz tells him its superstar not wrestler. Cody gets pissed at it.

Cody ends his promo saying, “May the best man win.” Cody goes to leave but Miz tries to sneak in with an attack. Cody is ready for it and sends Miz to the floor.

Dominik Mysterio vs Veer Mahan

Veer was earlier announced to face Rey Mysterio, but it seems that Dominik is replacing his father in the match.

Dominik moves away from the corner and unloads on Veer. Veer drops him with a lariat. A big blow on Dominik’s break. Veer hits a Thesz press next. Dominik hits back with kicks. He sends Veer to the floor. Dominik goes for a crossbody, but Veer catches him and slams him into the barricade. Veer drops him with a lariat next. He throws Dominik into the ring. Veer hits another lariat and jumps on his back. Veer puts on the cervical clutch to get a submission immediately.

Winner – Veer Mahan

After the match, Veer celebrates briefly before putting on the cervical clutch again. WWE crew run out and separate them. Veer puts on the clutch once again before leaving for the back. Dominik is being carried to the back on a stretcher.

After the break, we see Dominik being loaded into an ambulance. Kevin Patrick is interviewing Veer and asks him why he attacked Dominik after the match ended. Veer replies that he strikes fear into the heart of any man.

A recap of the segment between Edge, Damian Priest and AJ Styles. Sarah Schreiber catches AJ as he enters the building earlier today. AJ is afraid about what Edge and Priest are making him do to them. He says Edge talked about his family last week, and that is crossing the line. AJ sees Damian Priest and attacks him, unloading on him. Priest fights back with a few shots himself before the crew intervenes. AJ is screaming at Priest as they are taken away in opposite directions.

AJ Styles vs Damian Priest

After the break, AJ makes his entrance for the match. Priest gets a promo in inset. He says he pledged his loyalty to Edge last week, and AJ will feel the turn tonight. AJ starts with punches and chops in the corner. Priest nails an uppercut. AJ clotheslines him to the floor. AJ hits a sliding knee and Priest crashes into the ring post. AJ hits a crossbody which sends Priest into the timekeeper’s area. AJ sends Priest over the announce table. He hits a springboard forearm on the floor to send us to the break.

Priest is in control after sends AJ into the corner during the break. AJ hits an inverted DDT. AJ follows with a flurry of strikes and a corner clothesline. Priest delays Ushi-Garoshi for a bit, but AJ manages to hit it. Styles was looking for the Styles clash but Priest fights back with punches, a clap and a flatliner for a two-count. Priest hits body kicks while AJ is down on his knees.

AJ counters the reckoning and hits a Pele kick. He gets ready for the Phenomenal Forearm but Priest hits a kick to his face to drop him to the floor. Priest gets down on one knee in the ring and gets the lights turned down. A spotlight is on Priest and his eyes change as we cut to a break.

Result – No contest

After the break, we get to know that the match apparently ended at that point. AJ is backstage with Sarah Schrieber and is pissed at how it ended. He vows to take down Edge and Priest.

Cody Rhodes vs The Miz

Both men make their entrance. Seth Rollins makes his way out to the ringside to watch this match.

A bit of back and forth to start. Cody hits a powerslam. Miz goes to the apron and Cody nails him with springboard kick to drop him to the floor. Cody goes for a springboard cutter, but Miz blocks it. Cody hits a delayed vertical suplex. Cody puts on a choke, Miz gets on his feet and hits a kick to his face. He starts hitting Cody with punches and chops. Miz puts on a chinlock now. Cody is back on his feet but Miz boots him to the floor to take us to a break.

Miz is in control as we return. Miz hits a big left, which hypes up Cody. Cody hits a clothesline, a leg shot and another clothesline before hitting a body slam for a two-count. Cody hits a suicide dive as Miz goes to the floor. Cody brings him back. Miz avoids a top rope move and hits a low dropkick on his ankle. Miz puts on a figure four leglock. Miz puts pressure on it and Cody struggles for a while.

Cody then reverses the figure four. Miz also struggles but manages to get to the ropes. Cody hits a dropdown uppercut and Cody cutter. He follows with a Crossrhodes to get the pin and the win.

Winner – Cody Rhodes

After the match, Cody celebrates his win. He poses in the corner. Seth Rollins gets into the ring with a mic. Rollins says he heard all the nice things about him and also throw down word like “rematch.” So, he is thinking about Rollins vs Rhodes part 2. Cody agrees to it.

Tommaso Ciampa is backstage and is welcomed to RAW by Ezekiel. Ciampa thanks Ezekiel. Kevin Owens comes in and once again says that it is not Ezekiel but Elias. Ezekiel tells him that he is wrong and he is indeed Ezekiel. Ezekiel leaves but Owens is still pissed. Ciampa tells Owens that he is mistaken as he is indeed Ezekiel. Owens rants about being the only sane one.

Naomi(w/ Sasha Banks) vs Liv Morgan

Another match is changed. Instead of a tag team title match, we are getting a singles match.

Back and forth start. Naomi rocks Liv with a kick. Naomi drives Liv into the corner with her knees. A kick gets her a two-count. Liv counters with a clothesline. Both women are down. Liv goes for oblivion, but Naomi blocks it. Naomi hits a powerbomb to counter a headscissor. They trade pin reversals before Naomi gets the pin.

Winner – Naomi

After the match, Naomi celebrates in the ring with Sasha while Liv is still down.


We get the recap of how MVP turned on Bobby Lashley last week and joined Omos. Lashley comes out to the ring, and is apparently gatecrashing The VIP Lounge segment between MVP and Omos.

Lashley Crashes VIP Lounge

Lashley has the mic in his hand after the break. He says he decided to invite himself to the VIP Lounge after what happened last week. He was supposed to celebrate his big win over Omos. He talks about how MVP betrayed him. Lashley asks MVP to come out and explain to everyone why he did what he did. When there is no response, Lashley says why not make the VIP Lounge a little more like his style.

Omos’ music hits and he comes out to the stage with MVP. MVP says Lashley should stop embrassing him by destroying his set. MVP says Omos is learning to be a businessman and will wait for right place and money to face him in the ring. He adds that everyone should thank him for this change in Omos. MVP goes on to explain that Lashley was floundering in WWE with tiktok star as his wife until he came back. MVP screams that he made Lashley.

Lashley retorts by saying that MVP came back for a comeback tour and was ready to call it a day. But then, he stuck himself to Lashley. Lashley recalls how he destroyed everyone, and MVP screams that he was beside him in all of that. MVP says he is looking at the future now. Omos came calling to him and MVP promises that Omos will beat him the next time. Lashley says he can beat Omos again, and after that, he is coming for MVP. Lashley goes on and destroys The VIP Lounge set.


We get a recap of how Reggie proposed Dana Brooke while Akira Tozawa proposed to Tamina over the past weeks. R-Truth, Tozawa and Reggie are coming out of bachelors party. Truth asks Reggie where is 24/7 title. Reggie replies that it is with Dana in their bachloratte party. R-Truth says the title is not safe and they leave to crash that party.

After the break, Austin Theory is backstage with Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville, asking for a US Championship match against Finn Balor. Peace agrees to his request and the match will be next week. Theory leaves and Owens enters the scene. Owens asks for some ID proof for Ezekiel. Pearce says it is confidential information. Owens then asks for a lie detector test. Sonya grants him his wishes and it will be next week.

Sonya then tells Pearce that she has a deal for next opponent for WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Beliar. She does not tell Pearce who she is, but assures him that he will be good for it.

Bianca Belair vs Queen Zelina

Zelina looks for a quick roll-up but could not bring down Bianca. Bianca drops her. Zelina comes back with sunset flip. Zelina puts on a bridge with a choke on Bianca’s neck. Bianca gets up on her feet with Zelina on her back. Bianca drops Zelina a few times before hitting a military press slam on her. Bianca picks Zelina up and hits KOD for the pin and the win.

Winner – Bianca Belair

Sonya Deville comes out as Bianca celebrates her win. Deville gives props to Bianca and introduces her as the new RAW Women’s Champion. Deville says there are a lot of viable women gunning for the title like Becky, Carmella, Doudrop, Alexa Bliss and others. Bianca says she is ready to face any of them, but she will still walk out as RAW Women’s Champion since she is the quickest, strongest, bravest….

Sonya hypes her up to sign the contract without telling her who she will be facing. Bianca signs the contract. Sonya goes on to introduce the next opponent. We get a drum roll and Bianca turns her attention to the stage. Sonya drops Bianca from behind and beats her up for a while. Sonya is Bianca’s next opponent. Adam Pearce comes out with some crew members to get things under control.

Sonya Deville is backstage when Adam Pearce comes and tells her that it is a complete abuse of power. Deville replies by telling Pearce not to be jealous of her because she is still in her prime.

RK-Bro vs Alpha Academy

Gable starts with chops against Riddle. Riddle rocks him with a body kick and standing moonsault. Orton tags in and assists Riddle for another moonsault. Orton beats up Gable a bit before taging in Riddle back. Otis gets a blind tag and levels Riddle with a big lariat. Otis kicks Riddle out to the floor. He brings Riddle back and drops him with a shoulder tackle to take us to the break.

Gable has Riddle under control as we return. Riddle fights back with forearms. Gable stops his attack with some shots. Otis gets another blind tag and hits a splash. Orton is dropped off the apron by Gable. Riddle kicks Otis away and tags in Orton. Orton tees up against Gable with punches and a powerslam. Orton hits rope-hang DDT and firest up for RKO. Gable counters with a backslide pin attempt. Orton kicks out and hits RKO for the pin and the win.

Winner – RK-Bro

RK-Bro celebrate their win after the match. We see The Usos pulling into the parking lot in their SUV.

After the break, The Usos come out to confront RK-Bro and challenge them for a tag team title unification match. The Street Profits come out and tell them to get back in line. A match is set up right away with the winners facing RK-Bro.

Matches are announced for next week. Austin Theory challenges Finn Balor of US title while Naomi & Sasha defends Women’s Tag Team titles against Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan.

The Usos vs Street Profits – #1 Contender for RAW Tag Team Championship

Jimmy starts against Ford. Jimmy wrenches the arm after the lock up. Ford reverses it. Jimmy hits a shoulder tackle off the ropes. Ford catches him with a dropkick. Ford hits a chop and brings in Dawkins for double tackle and an assisted moonsault. Jimmy nails Dawkins with a big punch. Dawkins hits a corner splash for one-count. Jey tags in as Jimmy takes Dawkins to their corner. Jey nails a punch before Dawkins hits back with a dropkick.

Jimmy gets a blind tag and joins Jey for a double team spinebuster. Jimmy knees Dawkins on the ropes. Jey takes a cheap shot while the referee pulls back Jimmy. A big shot at the chest from Jey as he comes in. Jey puts on the camel clutch before transitioning to front chancery to stop the tag. Jimmy comes in again and continues to beat up Dawkins. Dawkins fights back with shots at both The Usos. Jimmy nails him with a punch and then stomps on his hand.

Dawkins sends Jey to the floor with a back body drop. The Usos team up to stop his attack on the floor. Dawkins is sent over the announce table. The Usos face off with RK-Bro near the announce table. Ford hits them with a senton to take us to the break.

Dawkins fights back with elbows and hits an underhook neckbreaker. Tags to Ford and Jey. Ford hits a clothesline on Jey. Jimmy comes back and eats an enziguiri. A blockbuster on Jey follows for a two-count. Jey hits back with a neckbreaker of his own. Jimmy comes in and Dawkins distracts them. Street Profits hit double team blockbuster on Jey for a near fall.

Jimmy cuts off Dawkins’ charge on the ropes. Dawkins gets his knees up on the splash from Jey. Ford hits a frog splash on Jey after the tag, but Jimmy breaks the pin. The Usos knock off Dawkins from the apron and hit 3-D on Ford to get the pin and the win.

Cody Rhodes vs The Miz: Cody Rhodes will have his first match on RAW this week as he faces The Miz. How easy will the match be for him? Or will Miz put a good effort against him?

Women’s Tag Titles: On the WrestleMania 38 fallout edition of Raw, Naomi & Sasha Banks defeated Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan in a non-title match. The loss caused a little dispute between Morgan & Ripley. But, now they will receive another shot at the women’s tag-team gold when they collide against Naomi & Sasha next week. 

Veer Mahaan vs Rey Mysterio: Veer Mahaan returned to RAW last week and targeted The Mysterios. He will face Rey Mysterio on this week’s show.

AJ Styles vs Damian Priest: On the recent episode of Raw, AJ Styles interrupted Damian Priest & Edge, and tried to attack the duo. However, the numbers game favored Edge & Priest, and soon the officials had to break their attack. WWE has now booked a singles match between AJ Styles and Damian Priest.

Tag Titles Unification: After unifying WWE & Universal Championship, Roman Reigns is now targetting tag team titles. He now wants The Usos to unify RAW and SmackDown Tag Team titles as they face RK-Bro in a tag team match. Will the Usos be successful in their quest? Or will RK-Bro become the unified tag team champions?

Additionally, several SmackDown stars are reported to be in Detriot for this show. Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns and New Day are reported to be at RAW.

Tommaso Ciampa is rumored to be called up to main roster and is expected to appear on tonight’s show.
