WWE NXT Spring Breakin’ Announced, Two Title Matches Confirmed
WWE has officially announced NXT 2.0 next major event titled Spring Breakin’ and it is all set to take place on May 3 at the Performance Center in Orlando, FL.
On the latest episode of NXT 2.0, WWE also confirmed two title matches for the Spring Breakin’ event. Cameron Grimes will defend his North American title against Solo Sikoa and Carmelo Hayes in a triple threat match. Whereas, the main event will feature Bron Breakker defending his NXT Championship against Joe Gacy.
Joe Gacy has been feuding with Bron Breakker since the Stand & Deliver fallout episode of NXT 2.0. He even abducted Breakker’s father Rick Steiner and even threatened to put his Hall of Fame ring on fire.
On the April 19 episode of NXT 2.0, Bron Breakker confronted Joe Gacy on the balcony where Gacy agreed to return the HOF ring in exchange for a title shot. Breakker accepts his challenge before Gacy pushed him off the balcony.
On the other hand, Cameron Grimes won the NXT North American title at NXT Stand & Deliver 2022 in a fatal-5-way ladder match. Cameron Grimes has been feuding with Sikoa and Hayes ever since he won the title.
He even successfully defended his title once against Solo Sikoa. But, now at the Spring Breakin’ event, he will be defending the title against both Sikoa and Hayes.
