WWE Officially Announced Extreme Rules for Oct 8 in Philadelphia
WWE Extreme Rules 2022 PPV event has been officially announced to take place at the “Land of Extreme” later this year in October.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia is set to host WWE Extreme Rules 2022 PPV event on October 8, 2022.
The special counsel to Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman had a chat with The Philadelphia Inquirer where he stated that it would be a litmus test for WWE. Paul Heyman also praised the Philadelphia crowd. He talked about his ECW days as Philadelphia was home to ECW.
Wells Fargo Center hosted Extreme Rules back in 2019 as well. The most recent edition of WWE Extreme Rules took place in Columbus, Ohio which featured Roman Reigns defending his Universal Championship against “The Demon” Finn Balor in the main event.
The tickets for WWE Extreme Rules 2022 will be available from July 15 at 10 AM ET for the general public. One can register himself via the mailing list to receive the pre-sale information as well.
This PLE event will be preceded by Clash at the Castle event in Wales on September 3, with Crown Jewel event set to follow it on November 5 in Saudi Arabia.
