WWE in Constant Contact with US State Department after Iran Attack Threat

WWE Crown Jewel

A few days ago it was reported that Iran is planning to attack Saudi Arabia and US military bases. After that, tension began to rise about whether Crown Jewel 2022 will take place this Saturday or not.

Now, according to a new report by PWInsider, WWE is in constant contact with the US State Department to monitor the situation so that they can identify any threats.

Also, the company received the information that the endangered area is quite far from Riyadh, the city in which Crown Jewel would take place.

WWE will undoubtedly take stringent procedures in order to ensure the safety of every WWE Superstar who travels to Saudi Arabia.

This year’s Crown Jewel PPV event will be star-studded as it features Roman Reigns and Logan Paul clashing for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event. Jake Paul will also be there to support his brother.

Meanwhile, the event will also feature Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley, Bayley, Asuka, Bianca Belair, Drew McIntyre, and AJ Styles among others. Many of these superstars have already traveled to Saudi Arabia in order to prepare for the premium live event.

Stay tuned for more updates as we will keep a close eye on the situation.
