Wrestle Kingdom 16 Night III Set to feature NOAH vs NJPW

The third night of Wrestle Kingdom 16 will be an inter-promotional event as it will feature wrestlers from NJPW and NOAH colliding against one another. 

The officials confirmed this news through a press conference that Night 3 will feature NJPW vs NOAH at the Yokohama Arena on January 8, 2022. 

The promotion even released a poster for it that features Shingo Takagi, Kazuchika Okada, and Hiroshi Tanahashi from the side of NJPW whereas Katsuhiko Nakajima, Kaito Kiyomiya, and Keiju Muto are representing NOAH. 

According to Tanahashi, NOAH will finally have a chance to prove how far they’ve come as a promotion. He is quite thrilled about this event and thinks the fans will get to see a lot of competition on January 8. 

The main events of the first two nights of Wrestle Kingdom 16 have already been revealed. Kazuchika Okada vs Shingo Takagi for the IWGP Championship will headline the first night at Tokyo Dome on January 5, and the winner of this fight will defend the title against  Will Ospreay in the main event on January 5.

However, the promotion hasn’t announced any match so far for the third night of Wrestle Kingdom 16.
