Warrior Wrestling 23 Card, Rules for War of Attrition, Fan Fest Announced

Warrior Wrestling will hold Warrior Wrestling 23 event on June 18, 2022, which will feature a Fan Fest before the event and a War of Attrition match in the main event.

A press release from Warrior Wrestling revealed that Warrior Wrestling Champion Will Ospreay will defend the title in an 8-man War of Attrition match. The other challengers for the title are Shane “Swerve” Strickland, Jake Something, Lance Archer, Jeff Cobb, Matt Cardona, Brian Pillman Jr. and Davey Richards.

The rules for the match are also revealed now and are as below:

  • 8 wrestlers will be divided into two teams of 4 wrestlers each. Teams will be sorted randomly.
  • A 4 vs 4 tag team match will start the War of Attrition. All 4 members of the losing team will be eliminated.
  • The surviving team will once again be randomly divided for 2 vs 2 tag team match. The losing team will be eliminated again.
  • Both the members of the winning team will face off in a singles match and the winner will emerge as the champion.

The card will also see Athena defend the Women’s title against AQA, Chelsea Green vs Tootie Lynn, Rey Leon vs Sam Adonis and Brian Cage vs KC Navarro matches. The event will take place at DeltaPlex Arena in Grand Rapids, MI. This is going to be the last event at the arena before it closes down. The event will be preceded by a Fan Fest starting from 5 PM EST onwards, which will include meet and greets with autographs and photos, podcasts and other fun surprises.
