Judgement Day Trio To Be In Action at WWE Hell in a Cell 2022
Judgement Day trio will all be in action in one match for the first time at WWE Hell in a Cell 2022 event.
Edge, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley will face AJ Styles, Finn Balor and Liv Morgan in a mixed trios match at the Premium Live Event this Sunday.
The two teams are feuding since WrestleMania 38 when the Judgement Day stable started to form. Damian Priest distracted AJ Styles during his match against Edge at WrestleMania 38 to cost him the match. Priest was revealed to have joined Edge’s vision the following night on RAW. Finn Balor was already feuding with Priest prior to that and has won the United States title from him.
Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley were tag team partners at WrestleMania 38 in the Women’s Tag Team Championship match. However, Rhea Ripley turned on Morgan when they lost another tag team title match to Sasha Banks and Noami. When Priest was banned from the ringside at WrestleMania Backlash, Rhea Ripley helped out Edge to beat Styles again. Edge later revealed that his stable will be called Judgement Day. Styles and Balor asked Morgan to help them out against the heel stable.
Morgan and Ripley have faced each other multiple times in singles matches in the last few weeks apart while the other members from both teams have also clashed. This week on RAW, Morgan capitalized on a distraction outside when Balor and Priest were dealing with Priest and rolled up Rhea to get the pinfall. In the post-match segment, Styles, Balor and Morgan trio stood tall over Priest and Ripley.
WWE then confirmed a mixed trios match between Judgement Day and Styles, Balor and Morgan trio for Hell in a Cell event this weekend. This is the sixth match announced for the event until now.
