Ripley & Morgan Added to Tag Title Match at WWE WrestleMania 38
Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan are now added to WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match at WWE WrestleMania 38.
Women’s Tag Team Champions Queen Zelina and Carmella are set to defend their titles at Night 2 of WrestleMania this year on April 3. Earlier, Sasha Banks and Naomi from SmackDown were announced to challenge them.
However, the pair faced Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan at this week’s RAW episode. It was announced that if Ripley & Morgan are able to defeat the champions, they will be added to the title match at the Showcase of Immortals. During the final minute of the match, Zelina was left on her own as Carmella got busy talking to Corey Graves. Rhea Ripley then hit Zelina with Riptide to get the win.
Last week at SmackDown, Naomi defeated Carmella in a singles match. This week at SmackDown, Sasha Banks will face Queen Zelina. More matches between the trio can be expected to continue on the road to WrestleMania.
