Tag Team Title Match Announced For Elimination Chamber 2020

WWE has announced the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship match inside the Elimination Chamber at the namesake PPV on 8 March 2020.

The Miz and John Morrison won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship from The New Day at WWE Super Showdown 2020. New Champs came out at SmackDown this week to celebrate their win. Just a few minutes later, a referee told the SmackDown announcer Greg Hamilton to make the official announcement for the Elimination Chamber match.

Hamilton went on to announce that that Miz & Morrison will defend the title against The Usos, The New Day, Heavy Machinery, Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode and Lucha House Party inside the Elimination Chamber. The “Dirt Sheet” duo was obviously livid with the announcement and even threw their mics at Hamilton.

This was followed by a tag team match between Miz & Morrison vs The Usos where the Usos were able to get the win.

The Dirt Sheet duo reunited once John Morrison returned to WWE Smackdown in January. They right away started a feud with The New Day. Later, they won a fatal 4-way #1 contenders match for the right to face New Day at Super Showdown.
