Shawn Michaels confirmed NXT’s last premium live event of this year.
The Heart Break Kid who is in charge of running NXT confirmed that NXT Deadline would be the next special of NXT during the Halloween Havoc’s media call. He also revealed that the event would air on December 10, the same day as the ROH Final Battle and UFC 282.
Initially, Fightful Select reported that NXT would hold a premium live event on December 10. On October 15, WWE filed a trademark for the name “Deadline.”
Now, Shawn Michaels confirmed that Deadline would indeed be the final PPV event of NXT this year. It is likely that they would announce this news along with the official poster of NXT Deadline this Saturday during Halloween Havoc 2022.
Michaels believes that this year’s Halloween Havoc will be the rebirth of the brand. The main event of this PLE will feature Bron Breakker defending his NXT title against Ilja Dragunov and JD McDonagh in a triple-threat match.
