NXT Results and Updates- 12 June 2019

Welcome to the Results and Updates Blog for NXT Episode of 12 June 2019.

• Candice LeRae and Io Shirai vs Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir ended in a disqualification. Shirai was running rampant on Duke when Shayna Baszler pulled her out of the ring. LeRae with a suicide dive on Duke and Shafir while Shirai beats up Baszler and the referee called for the DQ.
• Post-match, the brawling continues, Shirai and Baszler battle out into the crowd. Officials come out to try and separate Duke, Shafir and LeRae.

• Backstage, Velveteen Dream, in a selfie promo, wonders if fans are ready for the next experience.
• Damien Priest’s teaser video is shown. He will debut next week.
• Kushida defeated Drew Gulak in a Submission Match when hurricanrana transitions into the hoverboard lock and Gulak taps out.
• After the match, Kushida asks the crowd to cheer the Philadelphia Stretcher. Gulak sticks his finger in Kushida’s chest before offering his hand.

• A Steel Cage match between Io Shirai and Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s title is happening in two weeks.
• A clip of Mansoor winning Super ShowDown’s battle royal in his home country, and his post-win promo is shown.
• Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch defeated Undisputed ERA (Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong). Jaxson Ryker appeared during the end of the match and beats up some security as he makes his way to the ring. Undisputed is distracted by what happened, Burch shoves O’Reilly into Strong and Burch rolls up O’Reilly for the pin.
