Adam Cole has officially become a free agent now as his contract is slated to expire today i.e., Friday, August 27.

Everyone’s anticipating what will be Cole’s next move in the wrestling industry as the Superstar is yet to confirm whether he is resigning with WWE or not.

In between all this speculation, AEW star Matt Hardy shared a picture with Adam Cole on Twitter and commented on him becoming a free agent. His tweet reads, “#TBT 2014 Lots of buzz on @AdamColePro right now. I’m not surprised at all, he’s one of the elites in this industry. Let’s not forget – The #KingMaker Big Money Matt was his original mentor in ROH, of course, he’s gonna be a rockstar.”

This picture was from 2014 when both of them were a part of Ring of Honor. Earlier, the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and Britt Baker teased that Adam Cole is heading to AEW.

Last evening, Adam Cole and Johnny Gargano hosted a stream on Amazon Live to unveil new WWE products from Mattel. As a result, several reports began to come out that he re-signed with WWE. However, the stream was tapped weeks ago, and as of now, Cole hasn’t made any deal with either WWE or AEW.

It is likely that Cole’s status will become clear in a day or two when he will finally appear on Raw, SmackDown, AEW, or at any other promotion.
