Reigns Appearance & Ronda’s Open Challenge Set for SmackDown 10/28
WWE has announced a loaded episode for WWE SmackDown on October 28, 2022, with an appearance from Roman Reigns and Ronda Rousey’s open challenge for SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will appear on Smackdown episode of October 28 on the road to Crown Jewel 2022. The Tribal Chief is scheduled to face Logan Paul at Crown Jewel. Logan appeared on SmackDown past week and dropped Jey Uso with one punch. Roman is likely to address Logan while also taking forward his storyline with Jey.
Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn will have an opportunity to showcase themselves in front of Roman Reigns. They are scheduled to face Imperium’s Butch and Ridge Holland. Solo Sikoa faced Sheamus in a singles match last week and defeated him after some distraction from Sami. In the post match brawl, The Bloodline injured Sheamus and his medical status remains day-to-day so far.
WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will defend the title as she brings back open challenge series like her previous title reigns. However, it remains to be seen if Ronda would actually defend the title after some confusing comments about it last week on SmackDown.
In another tag team match, Hit-Row will bring a mystery partner to take on Legado Del Fantasma’s trio. LDF attacked Hit-Row on their brand debut two weeks back. But, with Hit-Row one member short, they will need another person to go head to head with the Mexican Stable. Who will it be?
The October 28, 2022 episode of SmackDown will air from Enterprise Center in St. Loius, OH. The line for the show is as below:
