Kofi Kingston, New Day & Street Profits Sign New WWE Deals
Kofi Kingston, The New Day and the Street Profits have all signed a new multi-year deals with WWE.
Kofi Kingston revealed during the New Day’s Feel The Power podcast that he has re-signed with WWE for the next five years. The deal will take him to the end of 2024. Kofi signed with WWE in 2006 and made his debut in 2007. After several Intercontinental, United States and Tag Team Championship reigns, Kofi won the WWE Championship at WrestleMania this year.
On WWE Backstage, Ryan Satin revealed that the other two members of the New Day has also agreed to a new deal with WWE with the same compensation and contract length. The New Day was formed in 2014 and won the Tag Team Championship in 2015 for the first time. Their second tag team title reign came at SummerSlam same year, which lasted for more than a year.
The year 2019 is turning out to be great one for the New Day with their sixth and seventh title reigns coming this year. Also, New Day have their own audio podcast which has been ranking number #1 on podcast in Apple Podcast.
Additionally, the Street Profits have also signed a renewed deal to stay with the company for coming years. Since coming to Raw in 2019, The Street Profits have been bringing all that smoke to the red brand. The Street Profits defeated The O.C. in their debut match on Raw and have continued to move up the tag team ranks.
Before coming to RAW, the Street Profits worked in NXT from 2016 onwards and even became the NXT Tag Team Champions on 10 July 2010 episode of NXT.
