Christian Cage vs Josh Alexander Announced for Impact “Bound For Glory”

IMPACT Bound For Glory 2021

Josh Alexander is all set to challenge Christian Cage for the Impact world championship in the main event of Impact “Bound For Glory.”

At Victory Road, Christian Cage successfully defended his title against Ace Austin. After the match, Josh Alexander came to the ring and relinquished his X-division championship to get a shot at the Impact world championship.

Alexander lifted his X-division title and stated “Bound For Glory. Option C,” to challenge Christian Cage for the championship. In response Christian also lifted his title to indicate that he accepted his challenge. The show ended with both these guys staring at each other.

Alexander won the X-division title in April at Rebellion and held it for more than 144+ days. He defeated Chris Sabin at Victory Road before relinquishing his title to challenge the world champion.

At Bound For Glory, Christian Cage will defend his championship for the third time after winning it from Kenny Omega at the very first episode of AEW Rampage. He already defended it against opponents like Brian Myers and Austin Ace.

Impact Bound For Glory is all set to take place on October 23.
