Jungle Boy vs Luchasaurus Steel Cage Match Set for AEW Full Gear 2022
Jungle Boy will meet Luchasaurus inside a steel cage at AEW Full Gear 2022 PPV as his storyline with Christian Cage continues.
Jungle Boy issued the challenge for Steel Cage match during Rampage taping for November 11 episode. Luchasaurus responded to this by putting Jungle Boy through a steel chair with a chokeslam. The match was later confirmed for Full Gear PPV.
The original storyline for this match started between Jungle Boy and Christian Cage. Christian turned on Jungle Boy at AEW Road Rager after JB and Luchasaurus lost AEW World Tag Team Championship to Swerve in Our Glory. Christian then talked Luchasaurus into doing his bidding. Although, when Jungle Boy returned, Luchasaurus quickly switched his alliance. A match was set between JB and Christian for All Out PPV.
Luchasaurus then double-crossed Jungle Boy at All Out and attacked him before the match. Christian easily defeated Jungle Boy that night. Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus went one on one on October 12 episode of Dynamite where Luchasaurus also defeated Jungle Boy. Last week on Dynamite, Jungle Boy attacked Luchasaurus during All Atlantic Championship triple threat match and put him through a table from dive from the stage.
Jungle Boy was present at Dynamite this week and told that he will reveal his proposition for Full Gear match at Rampage. The proposition was that of a Steel Cage match, which will be just second singles Steel Cage match in AEW history(barring Blood & Guts match).
AEW Full Gear 2022 PPV takes place on November 19. 4 new matches were added to the card this week including Sting & Darby Allin vs Jay Lethal & Jeff Jerrett, and Jade Cargill vs Nyla Rose for TBS Women’s Championship.
