Joey Ryan Signs with Impact Wrestling
Joey Ryan has signed a multi-year deal with Impact Wrestling.
Joey Ryan made a surprise appearance at Impact Wrestling’s Bound for Glory PPV in the Call Your Shot gauntlet match. Ryan went on to eliminate 4 athletes from the match before getting eliminated. Although he was not the only surprise appearance for the match with Kylie Rae and Hornswoggle also appearing.
Later, SoCalUncensored reported that Joey Ryan has signed a new deal with Impact Wrestling. Ryan confirmed that news on Twitter before confirmation from Impact Wrestling. This will be his second stint with Impact after one year journey between 2012 to 2013.
Ryan wrote on Twitter, “It made the most sense. @IMPACTWRESTLING has been the most consistent wrestling program on TV for the past 2 years, I get to keep all of my indie dates and best of all, they let me be me.”
Apart from Impact, Ryan has also worked with Ring of Honor, National Wrestling Alliance, Lucha Underground, Bar Wrestling and other independent wrestling promotions. Earlier in the year, the speculations were rife that Ryan will be signing with AEW. But he announced that he wants to continue working in the independent circuit.
