WWE Crown Jewel 2022 Press Conference, Live Video, Updates
WWE will host a live press conference for WWE Crown Jewel 2022 a day before the event. Press conference will stream live on WWE’s Youtube, Facebook and Tiktok account.
Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Logan Paul will be present to answer questions from the press. Other names are not confirmed as of now, but we can expect the likes of Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley, Seth Rollins, WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Bayley, Drew McIntyre, or other wrestlers on the card to be present.
Also expect, WWE Head of Creative Paul Levesque(Triple H) to be present. We will be posting live updates and important quotes from Crown Jewel press conference below. Live video is embedded at the top of the article.
Live Updates
Michael Cole kicks off the press conference. He brings out Triple H and Stephaine McMahon. Stephaine talks briefly to hype the show tomorrow night and talks about Saudi Arabia’s hospitality. She then introduces He Turki Alalsikh, Chairman of General Entertainment Assembly. Alalsikh reads a statement in Arabic. Triple H and Stephaine hand him a replica title belt before he leaves.
Triple H takes the stand now. Triple H says he can feel the energy in the air just like that of WrestleMania. He names all the wrestlers on the card tomorrow and says they all also feel the same and could not wait to perform tomorrow. To end his mic time, Triple H asks, “Are You Ready?”
Michael Cole goes through the match card for the event. Triple H takes his seat on the table. WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair comes out first follow by WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka and Alexa Bliss. Damage CTRL trio come out after this.
Bianca Belair: “I am so excited to be here. This is my third time in Saudi Arabia and this time, I will be facing Bayley in a Last Woman Standing match. And all I can say is that I will be the Last Woman Standing and still be the RAW Women’s Champion.”
Bayley: “Bianca, this is an honor to have this match against you, one of the greatest RAW Women’s Champion in the history. But, do not forget that I have successfully defended a title here in Saudi Arabia in the past. So, let’s see if we can say the same about you.”
Alexa Bliss responds to the crown chants. Asuka does her catchphrase, “You are not ready for Asuka and Alexa Bliss.” Dakota Kai points out that side plates still say Damage CTRL. Sky says they will win their titles back. the two teams have MMA/boxing style face-off with Triple H in the middle. Bayley and Bianca do the same before a pic.
Michael Cole now brings out Omos. Omos covers Cole’s face with hand to show off his giant hands. Strowman also comes out.
Omos: “Tomorrow at Crown Jewel, The Nigerian Giant will show that their is only room for one Giant and that is Omos. Monsters are not real, but Giants are.”
The crown chants “You Suck” at Omos. Chants for Strowman now. He asks Omos if hear these chants.
Braun Strowman: “This is the biggest challenge of my entire career. I have not stepped into the ring with someone as big as Omos. But, tomorrow you will find out that I am the baddest one in the building.”
They are doing a weigh-in now. Strowman gets in Omos’ face as he was going for weigh-in. Omos wieghts at 416.6 lbs. Strowman weights at 335.99 lbs. They do an official face-off. Strowman pushes Omos back which brings out a response from Omos. Strowman says he is already in Omos’ head.
We move for Roman Reigns and Logan Paul now. Roman Reigns comes out with Paul Heyman. He asks the crowd to Acknowledge him. Logan Paul comes out on a Camel. Roman Reigns is not intriuged. Cole asks for Roman’s remarks first. Roman smirks at being asked if Logan can beat him. He also responds to Ucey chants.
Roman: “Michael Cole is not feeling Ucey right now. And Logan Paul isn’t going to feel Ucey either tomorrow night. So, I gonna give you an opportunity to thank me now.”
Logan: “I think you need to thank me, Roman. Your boy just made you relevant in the Middle East.”
Roman: “I have been entertaining Saudi Arabia while you were making your terrible little Youtube blogs. I am going to give you one more opportunity to thank me. Acknowledge Your Tribal Cheif.”
Logan: “Here is the validation you need Roman Reigns. The validation you need so badly that why you say Acknowledge Me everywhere you go. ‘Thank You Tribal Chief!’
Roman puts down the mic as some Logan chants start.
Logan: “The man can’t speak when he has Heyman speaking for him for so long. So, I am gonna take it now. I am so thankful to come here and get an opportunity to dethrone Roman Reigns in my third WWE match. I am so inspired right now. I am a kid from Ohio, and getting these chants in Middle East.”
Logan: “You saw me beat the Mysterios at WrestleMania. You saw me beat The Miz at Summerslam. You will see me beat Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel when an unstoppable force meets and immovable object. I gotta give it to you Roman. You have done really good. But, all good things must come to an end. And all it takes is one lucky punch, which you would have seen me hit your cousin less than two weeks ago. You are the Tribal Cheif and you are the face of WWE for now. But, you are forgetting about something. The Tribal Cheif ain’t the only one with the Bloodline.”
Michael Cole come onto the stand again and asks about the backup Logan brought in with him. Logan Paul introduces Jake Paul the knockout artist. Roman is getting mad at Paul Heyman. Jake hypes his brother’s chance while also bringing up his win over Anderson Silva. Paul Heyman takes the mic now.
Paul Heyman: “Tribal Cheif could smash the two of you up right here, right now on the stage.”
The Paul Brothers dare Roman to do it.
Heyman: “We are businessman and Roman will do it tomorrow night when he will be paid to do it. But, in the interest of photo-op, we will give you the Bloodline.”
The Usos and Solo Sikoa come out to the stage. Roman and Logan face-off for photo-op. “We want Sami” chants from the crowd. Roman tells the crowd that after the way they have behaved tonight, they don’t deserve Sami. Roman and The Bloodline leave. The Paul Brothers pose with Triple H before Cole closes off the press conference.
