People finally started talking about the incident that took place after the AEW All Out media scrum as more details are coming in from both sides.
Now, a new report by Fightful Select revealed the response of the former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho. He is the one who is working to stabilize the AEW locker room. He even conducted talent meetings along with Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson.
It was reported that after the brawl, Chris Jericho went to CM Punk as he was quite unhappy about the brawl. Jericho told CM Punk that he was cancer to the AEW locker room. In response, Punk said it wasn’t Jericho’s business and needed to leave.
Meanwhile, according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a top AEW star stated that CM Punk wouldn’t be back in AEW. His on-screen value isn’t worth the chaos he creates backstage in AEW.
A few days back, several reports indicated that AEW is looking to buy the remainder of CM Punk’s AEW contract. However, neither Punk nor the promotion has provided any official update on the situation.
