3 Matches Announced for AEW Rampage October 28, 2022 Card
3 matches are announced for live AEW Rampage episode of October 28, 2022, which will air from Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT.
Wheeler Yuta was supposed to team up with Blackpool Combat Club teammate Claudio Castagnoli to take on Matt Menard and Angelo Parker. However, Yuta is double booked on the date with NJPW Strong tapings on the same date. So, AEW has changed that match to something else entirely.
Now, Matt Menard will take on BCC’s AEW World Champion Jon Moxley in a singles match. The match will be an AEW World title eliminator match. Yuta also announced an NJPW star will soon come to AEW to make up for this development.
Apart from this, Wardlow will defend AEW TNT Championship against Matt Taven from The Kingdom. The Kingdom’s Mike Bennet, Matt Taven and Maria Kanellis made their AEW debut two weeks back and targetted joined The Embassy in attacking FTR, Shawn Spears, Wardlow and ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe. This week, Taven recalled that he is a triple crown champion in ROH and would like to challenge either of Wardlow or Joe for their titles. Wardlow accepted the challenge to take on Taven.
Madison Rayne will take on Tay Melo in a singles match. Rayne teamed up with Skye Blue in a tag team match a few weeks back which she lost to Tay Melo and Anna Jay AS. Will she prove to be a formidable opponent for Melo in singles action?
