Chris Jericho, Omega and Young Bucks Announced AEW TNT Premiere
All Elite Wrestling announced a huge six-man tag team match which will involve Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega and Young Bucks for AEW TV Premiere episode on TNT this October.
The said match will go like Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks to team up against Chris Jericho and two mystery partners for a six-man tag team match. Jericho holds the card in his hands here as he is keeping the identity of the mystery partners to himself. Another interesting aspect of the match could be if Jericho enters the show as the first AEW World Champion. He is scheduled to take on Adam ‘Hangman’ Page at ALL OUT next month for the championship.
All Elite Wrestling will debut with their weekly TV show on TNT on Wednesday, 2 October 2019 between 8pm-10pm ET and which will air live from the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. The tickets go on sale tomorrow on 2 August at 12 PM ET. The line-up announced for the show is as below:
- Cody Rhodes vs Sammy Guevara
- Jon Moxley to appear
- Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks vs Chris Jericho and 2 Mystery partners
Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega have been involved in a feud for more than a year now. They first battled at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom for the IGWP US Championship back in January 2018 where Omega was able to retain the title. Later, Jericho jumped on Omega at All In in September 2018 which lead to a tag team match between them at Jericho Cruise.
Once Kenny Omega revealed that he has signed with AEW, Jericho confronted him once again. They battled at AEW Double or Nothing for a shot at AEW World Championship. Jericho won that match even the singles bouts between them at 1-1.
