Charlotte Flair has been announced as the first entrant for the Women Royal Rumble match at the namesake event.
Becky Lynch announced that she will put her title on the line against Asuka at Royal Rumble 2020. With that match out of the line, Flair was not left with anything to do. Flair came out and announced that she will in the Royal Rumble this year, and that was never in doubt.
Charlotte Flair also threw out an open challenge for an impromptu match. Natalya answered her challenge and the two women put up a fine match. Charlotte finished off the match with a figure four leg lock for the win.
Earlier, the rumors had it that WWE is likely to be booking 10 women from each of RAW, SmackDown and NXT for this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble. However, both the RAW and SmackDown roster might not be able to field 10 women in the Battle Royal if the injured athletes will not return in time.
