Doudrop To Challenge Becky Lynch at Royal Rumble for RAW Women’s Title

Doudrop won the #1 contender triple threat match at WWE RAW this week to set up a match against WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at Royal Rumble 2022.

A three-way match was announced for RAW episode of January 10, 2022, between Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair and Doudrop. The back and forth bout between the three contenders was the main event for the show. Although, it came down to a timely intervention from Becky Lynch to decide the winner.

Doudrop has hit Liv with a powerbomb, but her pin attempt was broken by Bianca with a 450-splash from the top. Bianca later followed it with a springboard splash and a KOD on Liv. Becky got involved and pulled Bianca out of the ring to slam her into the announce table. Doudrop then took advantage to hit the Vader bomb on Liv to get the pin and the win.

Becky also tried to send a message to Doudrop by attempting hit her with Manhandle Slam. Though, Doudrop proved too big for her and Becky has to escape to the floor.

Earlier, Becky defeated Liv Morgan at WWE Day 1 event in a match where Liv put up a tremendous performance. Liv then confronted Big Time Becks last week on RAW, only to be interrupted by Bianca. Later, Doudrop also made her claim for a title shot in a backstage segment with WWE Officials Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville. Pearce & Deville then announced a triple threat match for this week.

This is the third title match to be confirmed for Royal Rumble 2022 event, which will take place on Janaury 29 from The Dome at America’s Center in St. Loius, MS.
