AEW Announces Boston and Philadelphia for TV Tapings
AEW has announced that their weekly TV show tapings will take place in Boston on 9 October and in Philadelphia on 16 October.
Earlier, AEW announced the Capital One arena as the locations for their first TV tapings and sold out the tickets for that show in under 2 hours. The locations for the second and third shows were beeped out on the latest episode of Being the Elite this Monday. Cody Rhodes announced that the uncensored version of the clip would be released today.
Indeed, the announcement indeed came earlier today. Agganis Arena in Boston will be hosting the show on 9 October 2019. The arena capacity is about 7200 and has held TNA/Impact TV tapings earlier. The next TV episode will air on 16 October 2019 from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia. Liacouras Center is also of the capacity of 10000 seats. The ticket sales details will be announced on Friday, 9 August.
AEW team has earlier revealed that they are using the data analytics from BR Live to identify their major markets from where their viewers are coming. The same analytics encouraged them to hold the first TV tapings in Washington. But even without those analytics, Boston and Philadelphia can be considered the safe bets to sell out their shows.
