AEW Rampage will be live once again on October 28, 2022, for the fourth time in a row this month. The event will air from Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT.

Wardlow will defend his AEW TNT Championship against Matt Taven. Jon Moxley takes on Matt Menard in AEW World Title Eliminator. Madison Rayne faces Tay Melo in another singles match.

Jon Moxley vs Matt Menard – AEW World Title Eliminator

Angelo Parker keeps barking at Moxley from the apron. Menard tries to take advantage but Moxley takes him to the apron and sends him into a chair. He rakes Menard’s back. He continues to unload in the corner. Menard turns it around and unloads on Moxley. Moxley gets a takedown but Menard kicks him away to the floor. Menard distracts the referee and Parker runs over Moxley. Menard drops Moxley’s groin into the ring post as we cut to a break.

Moxley sends Menard to the corner and starts to unload. Parker distracts again and Menard picks up Moxley to hit a powerbomb. Menard puts on a Boston Crab. Moxley gets to the ropes quickly. Moxley hits a cutter. They get up and trade shots. Menard ducks a clothesline before Moxley hits King Kong lariat. Moxley hits a superplex to get a two-count. He puts on the ankle lock.

Menard kicks him away. Menard gets a sunset flip but Moxley hits him with Regal knee. Moxley hits stomps. Parker gets into the ring and eats a cutter. Menard sends Moxley into the ring post and gets a two-count with a roll-up. Menard now stomps on Moxley but could not hit them properly. Moxley counters by putting him in a rear naked choke and gets a quick submission.

Winner – Jon Moxley

Stokeley Hathaway comes out to the stage with Lee Moriarty. Hathaway says Moxley is definitely pi–ed off at the Firm, but he can’t do anything. Hathaway offers Moxley a match next week at Dynamite against Lee Moriarty. They air a rap video package to introduce Moriarty. Moxley tells Moriarty that he is hanging with the wrong crowd. Moxley tells Moriarty that he will beat him up next week.

Keith Lee vs Serpentico

Serpentico tries to chop Lee. Lee no-sells it and hits a Powerbomb to get the pin.

Tony Schiavone gets into the ring to interview Keith Lee. The Acclaimed come out and ask Lee about Shane Strickland. They reveal that Billy Gunn is missing. Strickland appears on the big screen and reveals that Gunn is with him. Strickland tells Gunn that he interferred last time in their tag title match, but he won’t be able to do it this time around as he will be in the hospital. Strickland cuts something of Billy off the screen. Billy screams as the cameras cut off.


We get a promo from Jericho Appreciation Society which they taped after Dynamite earlier this week. They take offense on rules not being followed and Blackpool Combat Club being happy with a tainted win. Jericho says now every ROH will have to pay for this whether it is a Pure champion, TV champion or World champion. Tay Melo also tells Madison Rayne that they have a score to settle.

Madison Rayne vs Tay Melo

Rayne gets the lock on. Melo gets her in a pining predicament. They wrestle a bit and Melo goes for Juji Gatami. Rayne comes out of it. Melo slaps her. Rayne hits elbows and a dropkick to get a two-count. Rayne avoids a corner charge. Melo hits a backbreaker on the top turnbuckle to take us to a break.

Rayne blocks a suplex and hits a DDT. Rayne hits some quick moves and hits a cutter to get a two-count. Rayne unloads with lefts as Melo goes to the top. Rayne hits a cutter from the top rope, but she is late in cover and Melo kicks out. Melo comes back into the match. Rayne hits a back body drop and low clothesline to get a two-count. Melo pushes her to the corner. They trade big shots until Melo hits a knee strike. Melo hits a Tay-KO to get the pin.

Winner – Tay Melo

Ethan Page is getting interviewed backstage and says they did not decide to change but it was MJF who changed plans. It was MJF who decided to change everything by himself. He points out how The Firm won MJF the #1 contender spot. Page announces that he will be in Full Gear World Title Eliminator tournament. He will become the #1 contender and will make sure that Moxley does not lose the title at Full Gear.

Wardlow(c) vs Matt Taven – AEW TNT Championship

Taven starts with a kick and an enziguri. Wardlow hits back with an arm drag. He hits shoulder tackles in corner before tossing Taven to the floor. A big right from back drops Taven. Wardlow send him into the ring post. Mike Bennett runs a distraction and Taven hits a tope suicida to take us to a break.

We return to see Taven hits a running knee on Wardlow. Wardlow comes back with a clothesline. He throws Taven across and then hits a spinebuster. Wardlow gets the pin after Powerbomb Symphony.

Winner – Wardlow

After the match, Mike Bennett attacks Wardlow. Samoa Joe comes out to make the save. Powerhouse Hobbs comes out to the ring. The Gates of Agony attack Wardlow and Joe and Hobbs also joins them to close the show.
