Iron Man Match Championship Match Announced For NXT Next Week
NXT General Manager William Regal has announced a Fatal 4-Way Iron Man Match for NXT Championship on NXT’s Super Tuesday Edition for next week.
Karrion Kross had won the NXT Championship at last Saturday at NXT TakeOver: 30 PPV from Keith Lee. But in the process, Kross got a separated shoulder injury which put his title reign in jeopardy even before he won it.
Kross opened NXT tonight along with Scarlett and went on to relinquish the title. With the last champion, Keith Lee, already moved on WWE RAW, the NXT Management were shown in an emergency meeting to decide on the way to announce the new champion.
Later in the show, William Regal cut a promo where he announced 4 former NXT Champions- Finn Balor, Tommaso Ciampa, Adam Cole and Johnny Gargano, all will face-off to win the title again. Adding to this, Regal also announced that it is going to be Fatal 4-way 60 minutes Iron Man match.
However, how will getting pins and getting pinned will work during the match, is not clear at this point.
Next week’s NXT episode is moved to Tuesday due to the NHL playoffs on the USA Network on next Wednesday and is billed as Super Tuesday show.
