UFC Vegas 59 Commentary Team & Broadcast Plans Announced
UFC is set to present UFC Vegas 59, also known as UFC on ESPN 40, this Saturday, which will be headlined by Thiago Santos vs Jamahal Hill light heavyweight bout.
Like all the UFC events, some marquee on-air talent will be present at this one as well in the form of commentators, roving reporters, analysts, etc. UFC also announced the entire list of the on-air talent along with the broadcast plans of UFC Vegas 40. Listed below is the entire list.
Broadcast Plans
The entire event will be available to watch on ESPN in the US, and it will also stream on ESPNS+. The prelims will tentatively begin at 7 PM ET, whereas the main card of UFC Vegas 59 is scheduled to start at 10 PM ET.
Desk Analyst
Dan Hellie, a veteran UFC broadcaster, will return to serve as host and desk anchor at UFC Vegas 59. He will be joined by renowned MMA coach Din Thomas and UFC Hall of Famer Rashad Evans as desk analysts.
In-Ring Announcer
Bruce Buffer will be on a break, and he will be replaced by another renowned announcer Joe Martinez. He will introduce the fighters before their respective bouts.
Roving Reporter
Heidi Androl will take the reins from Megan Olivi and will serve as the roving reporter at UFC on ESPN 40. She will provide real-time updates on the event and will also conduct pre and post-fight interviews with the athletes.
Cageside Commentators
Jon Anik will take some rest as the leading man on the mic will be Brandon Fitzgerald. He will command play-by-play commentary alongside retired fighter Paul Felder and UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping.
