Airing from Pechanga Arena in San Diego, CA, the UFC on ESPN 41 event will see Dominik Cruz and Marlon Vera in the headliner bantamweight bout. Vera is climbing the ranking to get closer to become a title contender and a win over former two-time champion Cruz might just be the thing to get to that status.
Cruz is also trying to get his career back on for one last run. He has won two fights in a row since losing the title bout to Henry Cejudo in 2020. A third win in a row gets will surely put him in an eliminator sort of match with any of the other contenders.
David Onama and Nate Landwehr will be in the featherweight co-main event bout at UFC San Deigo. Gerald Meerschaert will open the main card followed by Ariane Lipski vs Priscila Cachoeira women’s bantamweight bout. A total of 5 women’s bouts are scheduled for the card airing on ESPN+ and ESPN in US.
