UFC will present a Fight Night event on November 13, 2021, that will feature a Max Holloway vs Yair Rodriguez Featherweight bout as its main event. The event is also known as UFC Fight Night 197, UFC Vegas 42 or UFC on ESPN 55. It will take place at UFC Apex Facility, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Holloway vs Rodriguez was earlier scheduled to headline the Fight Night event on July 17, 2021. But Holloway had to pull from the event due to an injury. The bout was then rescheduled to November 13. Jessica Eye was also supposed to feature on the card to face Andrea Lee, but Eye suffered an injury and was pulled out of the event.
Kevin Holland vs Kyle Daukaus and Eryk Anders vs Roman Dolidze were also scheduled for UFC Vegas 42. But Holland and Anders withdrew from the event due to injuries. Daukaus and Dolidze will face off now. The main card will also feature bouts like Ben Rothwell vs Marcos Rogerio De Lima, Felicia Spenser vs Leah Letson, and more.
