Sergei Pavlovich will serve as the backup fighter for the heavyweight title fight at UFC 295 PPV event.
Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic are set to clash in the main event of UFC 295 over UFC Heavyweight Championship. The event is set to take place on November 11, 2023.
The news about Pavlovich’s serving as the backup comes from journalist Igor Lazorin. Pavlovich will weigh in at the event in case any of the fighters pull out of the bout due to any reason.
Pavlovich also served as the back-up at UFC 285 PPV for Jon Jones vs Ciryl Gane heavyweight title fight. Pavlovich is currently ranked at #1 in heavyweight division in UFC Rankings.
Pavlovich is currently on a 6-fight winning streak since his UFC debut where he lost to Alistair Overeem. That remains his only loss in MMA so far.
