Steve Garcia vs Shayilan Nuerdanbieke Added to UFC 287
A key featherweight match has been added to UFC 287 PPV event.
According to the latest reports, Steve Garcia will collide against Shayilan Nuerdanbieke inside the octagon on April 8, 2023, at a yet-to-be-announced location.
Mike Heck of MMA Fighting was the first one to report this match which was later confirmed by several other sources as well.
Steve Garcia is 2-2 in UC so far. He lost his inaugural match against Luis Pena, but then he rebounded in his second match by defeating Charlie Onteveros. Hayisaer Maheshate defeated him at UFC 275 before he won his most recent match against Chase Hooper.
On the other hand, Shayilan Nuerdanbieke is on a three-fight winning streak. He is coming off a first-round TKO win against Darrick Minner. Before that, he defeated TJ Brown and Sean Soriano.
Now, these two featherweights will square off at UFC 287, which will reportedly take place in Brooklyn or Miami on April 8, 2023.
