Shane Burgos vs Charles Jourdain Set for UFC Long Island in July

Shane Burgos is set to collide against Charles Jourdain in a featherweight bout at UFC Long Island which will take place on July 16, 2022. 

Eurosport NL’s Marcel Dorff reported this news first which was later confirmed by Shane Burgos himself. Now, these featherweights are officially set to clash at the UBS Arena in Elmont.

Shane Burgos only won one out of his last three fights. He defeated Billy Quarantillo in his most recent bout at UFC 268. However, before that, he lost against Edson Barboza and Josh Emmett. 

On the other hand, Charles Jourdain is on a two-fight winning streak. He defeated Lando Vannata via first-round submission earlier this year in April. Before that, he defeated Andre Ewell via unanimous decision. 

Now, both these featherweight athletes will try to stay on the winning track when they lock horns at UFC Long Island on July 16.
