Nate Landwehr vs Dan Ige in Works for UFC 289 in June

A new featherweight bout is in the works for the UFC 289 PPV event.
According to the latest reports, Nate Landwehr vs Dan Ige featherweight bout is being targeted for UFC 289 on June 10, 2023.
MMA Fighting was the first one to report this matchup, which was later confirmed by several other sources as well. Both these fighters verbally agreed to this fight. Now, they only have to put the ink on the paper.
Dan Ige recently snapped his three-fight losing streak with a second-round KO win against Damon Jackson at UFC Vegas 67 earlier this year in January. Before that, he registered three consecutive losses against Movsar Evloev, Josh Emmett, and Jung Chan-sung.
On the other hand, Nate Landwehr is maintaining a three-fight winning streak. Landwehr also received an additional $50K bonus for all these three fights. He is coming off a second-round submission win against Austin Lingo.
UFC 289 will take place as a part of Internation Fight Week on June 10, 2023. The location, venue, and headliner bout for this event are yet to be announced.
