Miranda Maverick vs Shanna Young Added to UFC 278

According to the latest reports, Miranda Maverick vs Shanna Young has been added to the match card of the UFC 278 PPV event. 

The event will take place at the Vivint Center in Salt Lake City on August 20 latest this year. Miranda herself confirmed this bout on her Instagram handle. 

This will be the second time Maverick and Young will collide against each other as they already collided once at the Invicta FC. 

Miranda Maverick is 1-2 in her last three UFC bouts. She lost two back-to-back matches against Maycee Barber and Erin Blanchfield. She rebounded in her most recent match and submitted Sabina Mazo earlier this year in March. 

On the other hand, Shanna Young also lost two out of her last three matches. She lost against Macy Chiasson and Stephanie Egger before stopping Gina Mazany via TKO. 

Now, both these women will be looking forward to keeping the winning momentum when they face each other at UFC 278 later this year in August.
