Loma Lookboonmee vs Elise Reed Booked for UFC Seoul on February 4
Loma Lookboonmee(7-3) will start the year 2023 in UFC closer to her home country.
Lookboonmee is reported to fight against Elise Reed(6-2) in a strawweight bout at UFC Fight Night 218 in Seoul, South Korea, on February 4, 2023.
The fight was reported by Nolan King of MMA Junkie. Elisse Reed also confirmed the report via Twitter.
Lookboonmee recently signed a new multi-fight deal with UFC and this will be the first bout under the new deal. She was last in action to defeat a short-notice replacement Denise Gomes at UFC Vegas 60 event in September this year. She originally signed with UFC in 2019 and has a 4-2 record under the promotion.
Elise Reed has been with UFC since 2021 and has fought 4 times in the last 16 months, with 2 wins and 2 losses. She recently defeated Melissa Martinez at UFC 279 prelims on September 10, 2022. Reed is a former CFFC Women’s Strawweight Champion.
Currently not confirmed by UFC, the Fight Night event on February 4, 2023, is expected to take place at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul, South Korea. Kim Ji-yeon vs Mandy Böhm flyweight bout and Devin Clark vs Jung Da-un light heavyweight bout are in work for the event.
