Kamaru Usman assured the fans that they would see the trilogy with Leon Edwards and the bout will likely take place in England.
Leon Ewards defeated Kamaru Usman in the main event of UFC 278 via a last-round KO. It was the first loss of Usman’s career where he lost his UFC welterweight title as well.
UFC President Dana White and Leon Edwards both agreed on the fact that the trilogy is next. White wants to host this fight at the Wembley Stadium in England.
England is Edwards’ home turf and hence he naturally loves this idea. On the other hand, Usman stated that the trilogy is absolutely what’s gonna happen next. He would let White do his job and see what location and date he decides.
Usman also stated that he is feening to go to England and he feels like that place is his second home.
Kamaru Usman was leading the scoring cards of all the three judges before a beautiful kick knocked him out cold in the last minute of the bout. Usman praised this and stated it was a great shot.
Now, it remains to be seen when UFC will make this trilogy official.
