Jon Jones Engages in Twitter War with Dan Hooker
Jon Jones has finally responded to Dan Hooker’s tweets that were posted by him earlier this week.
Recently, an incident happened with Chael Sonnen that triggered police involvement. He was reportedly issued five battery citations, and when the details came out Dan Hooker took a shot at Jon Jones by tweeting, “Imagine beating up 5 people and not one of them is your wife. (JJones RN )”
Earlier this year in September, Jon Jones was charged for domestic violence and was arrested as well. However, later these charges were dropped.
Jones didn’t hesitate while responding to comments by Hooker and stated that he was jealous of his career. Jones said, “ You can’t achieve greatness, so you attacked someone who has.”
The fans might never be able to see these rivals sorting out things inside the octagon. Hooker is preparing for the Featherweight division whereas Jones has his eyes set on the UFC Heavyweight title.
Dan Hooker’s last match came in October this year where he lost against Islam Makhachev in the very first round via submission.
On the other hand, Jon Jones hasn’t entered the octagon since February 2020. His last match came against Dominick Reyes and after that, he cleared that his next would come in the Heavyweight division.
