Silvana Gómez Juárez (10-4) vs Liang Na (15-5) strawweight fight is in work for UFC 275 PPV.
ESPN Deportes’ Carlos Contreras Legaspi has reported that both sides have verbally agreed to fight on June 11, 2022, event. Both women would be looking to bounce back from losses in their last bouts.
Silvana Gómez Juárez, first woman from Argentina to fight in UFC, trains at Entram Gym in Tijuana, Mexico. She needs a win here desperately after losing the first two bouts in UFC. She lost to Lupita Godínez via submission in a short notice debut at Fight Night event in October last year. She lost to Vanessa Demopoulos, once again via submission, at UFC 270.
Liang Na has not competed in the octagon since her UFC debut at UFC 261 PPV in April 2021. The 25-year old Chinese Fighter lost to Ariane Carnelossi via TKO on that night.
UFC 275 PPV currently has Light Heavyweight Champion Glover Teixeira vs Jiri Prochazka in the plan for the main event. The bout was shifted from UFC 274 to UFC 275 earlier this month. Additionally, Women’s Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko will defend the title against Talia Santos. UFC is yet to confirm the location for the event.
