Giga Chikadze vs Sodiq Yusuff Set for Sep 17 UFC Event
UFC has officially announced the co-main event of the September 17 UFC Fight Night event.
It has been revealed that a featherweight bout between Giga Chikadze and Sodiq Yusuff will co-main event the UFC Fight Night event which is set to take place on September 17 later this year.
UFC announced this news by sharing a tweet. This post also revealed that Cory Sandhagen vs Song Yadong would headline this card.
Giga Chikadze’s seven-fight streak was recently snapped by Calvin Kattar earlier this year in January. Kattar delivered him his first UFC loss, and the bout also received the Fight of the Night bonus. Before that, Chikadze managed to defeat opponents like Edson Barboza, Cub Swanson, Omar Morales, and more.
On the other hand, Sodiq Yusuff is coming off a unanimous decision win against Alex Caceres earlier this year in March. Before that, Arnold Allen snapped his four-fight winning streak. Yusuff has victories over the likes of Gabriel Benitez and Andre Fili.
Yusuff managed to rebound from a loss but Giga Chikadze is still looking forward to doing the same. Therefore, he will try his best to snatch the victory when he enters the octagon on September 17.
