Dricus Du Plessis vs Anthony Hernandez

According to the latest reports, Dricus Du Plessis vs Anthony Hernandez is added to the card of UFC 273 after Chris Curtis and Albert Duraev were forced out of the event. 

Anthony Hernandez was originally scheduled to face Albert Duraev on April 9, but the latter was forced out of the match due to a rib injury. 

Chirs Curtis was supposed to face Du Plessis, but now the former has also been forced out of UFC 273 due to a wrist injury. Now, MMA Fighting confirmed that Dricus Du Plessis and Anthony Hernandez will collide against each other at the upcoming PPV event of the promotion.

Dricus Du Plessis is currently on a four-fight winning streak and is coming off a KO victory against Trevin Giles at UFC 264. 

On the other hand, Anthony Hernandez will return inside the octagon after a gap of more than a year. He is coming off a submission victory against Rodolfo Vieira at UFC 258. 

UFC 273 will take place on April 9, 2022, and will be headlined by Alexander Volkanovski vs The Korean Zombie UFC Featherweight Championship bout.
