Deiveson Figueiredo vs Brandon Moreno III Moved to UFC 270

Brandon Moreno vs Deiveson Figueiredo III will now take place at UFC 270 on January 22 instead of UFC 269.
UFC decided to move this trilogy match after announcing Jorge Masvidal vs Leon Edwards for UFC 269. The December 11 event already has two more title fights on the card with Charles Oliviera vs Dustin Poirier Lightweight title bout and Amanda Nunes vs Julianna Pena Women’s Bantamweight title bout.
At UFC 270, Moreno and Figueiredo will share the octagon for the third time. Their first bout took place at the main event of UFC 256 that ended up in draw. That fight was also considered as one of the best fights of the year 2020.
Moreno vs Figueiredo II took place at UFC 263 where Moreno came out victorious. He won the match in the third round via rear-naked choke submission and became the new UFC Flyweight Champion.
Now, the flyweight championship rematch and the third fight of the Figueiredo-Moreno trilogy will take place next year on January 22 at UFC 270.
No location or venue is confirmed for UFC 270 yet. The event is expected to be headlined by the heavyweight title unification bout between Francis Ngannou and Ciryl Gane.
