Cody Stamann is all set to collide against UFC veteran Eddie Wineland in a Bantamweight bout at the UFC Fight Night event on June 18.
Iridium Sports Agency which manages Cody Stamann confirmed this news on Twitter. The agency confirmed that the bantamweight is set to take place at UFC Fight Night 208.
This upcoming bout is a really important one for both these fighters as they’re struggling to get back on the winning path. Cody Stamann is on a three-fight losing streak whereas Eddie Wineland is on a two-fight losing streak.
Cody Stamann is coming off a first-round submission loss against Said Nurmagomedov. His last win came against Brian Kelleher at UFC 250 back in June 2020.
On the other hand, Eddie Wineland is coming off a first-round TKO loss against John Castaneda. His last win came against Grigory Popov at UFC 238 back in June 2019.
Hence, both Stamann and Wineland are desperately looking for a win in order to rebound from their previous loss. Now, it will be interesting to see who will finally get back on the winning track when these two bantamweights collide inside the octagon on June 18.
