The co-main event of the Kambosos-Haney undercard didn’t last very long as Jason Moloney defeated Aston Palicte via TKO at 2:35 of Round 3.

Moloney is now the WBC Silver & WBO International welterweight champion and is one step closer to receiving a world title shot.

The fight started with a back and forth where both the fighters were able to deliver some jabs. Moloney seems to be a little cautious in the second round. Palicte’s shots were landing on Moloney’s arms but the latter managed to connect his shots to Palicte’s ribs.

The third round was completely dominated by Moloney. In the initial moments, Palicte did connect a good right hand to Moloney’s head but later Moloney connected a right hand of his own and then Palicte found himself on the mat.

Palicte stood up but then there came another right hand which was enough to end the fight. Moloney instantly started celebrating in the ring in front of his home crowd. Below are the video highlights from the fight.
